Good morning folks.
The path going through Maxwell park in Cradlehall will be closed on Friday the 9th of February and Saturday the 10th of February to allow the foot bridge at the top of the path to be replaced and carry out an investigation into the drainage issues. Also some tree felling is to take place in the area.
Ongoing work on Monday the 12th and Tuesday the 13th will continue in the area.
Please note the car park at the top of the park will be closed during this time.
We plan to wait for the school to go in on Friday the 9th of February before dismantling the current bridge and will do our best to keep distribution to a minimum.
All the best.

PARENT COUNCIL – After School ART CLUB
The Parent Council have been looking at the possibility of running an art class after school over two different days.
P1-P3 one day from 14:45 - 15:45
P4-P7 another day 15:15 - 16:15
for a 6-week block.
The teacher, Sadie Stoddart is an experienced artist who has run art
classes for children at Midmills College in the past and will look at a
variety of different mediums and techniques such as printmaking, collage, drawing, painting and 3D modelling using recycled materials.
Each class has 8 spaces and must be booked for the whole block at an estimated cost of £50 per child. However, if any parents would be able to volunteer to help, then the number could increase to up to 16 children per class which would bring down the cost.
Please email [email protected] if you would be interested in volunteering to help or if you would be interested in your child joining the class (volunteers will be guaranteed a child
place if spaces are over subscribed)
