Introduced to the world at the IAA Transportation Trade Fair in Hanover, the MAXUS eTerron9, Europe's first all wheel drive electric pickup

It comes fitted with motors on front and rear axles and a102kWh battery that provides an official range of 267 miles. The front axles are driven by a 168hp (125kW) motor, while the rear are powered by a 268hp (200kW), providing a total power output of 436hp.

Payload is currently 620kg, although work is being done to increase this to over 1000kg in order to obtain the commercial vehicle tax rates that makes double cab pick-ups so appealing.

The eTerron 9 also offers an electronically powered tail gate and the ability to open the bulkhead between the loading bay and the cabin.

Due before the end of 2024, with prices to follow soon and expected to be similar to the T90EV.

Another busy week ahead for our events team.

On Thursday and Friday, our MAXUS colleagues are undertaking the 2024 Electric Vehicle Rally of Scotland (EVROS), a 600 mile route around the North starting in Inverness and ending in Edinburgh.

On Saturday, we'll see all the cyclists head off on a 100 mile journey around Angus in the Ride the North event, starting and finishing in Arbroath and passing through our home town of Forfar part way through the route.

And finally on Saturday and Sunday, we're at Knockhill Circuit for the return of Supertruck Scotland, where we'll have a number of vehicles on display for closer inspection.

And then, that's it pretty much over for our 2024 AMP Tour, with only the AM Phillip Trucktech Snowman Rally in October.
