Headway Highland provides support to adults with an acquired brain injury and their families/carers.
Headway Highland is a local charity formed by volunteers to reduce isolation and
provide much needed information and support to brain injured survivors,
their families, carers and professionals throughout the Highlands.
Michael one of our members submitted a successful entry to the annual Digby Brown Calendar competition. Lee was delighted to take the opportunity yesterday to present Michael with a certificate, gift voucher & other goodies from Digby Brown. Congratulations to you Michael!!!
Some lovely photos from our Christmas lunch yesterday in the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness. It was great to see everyone from near & far including members from Ullapool, our Chairperson from Fort William and members from Alness. Thank you all so much for coming along 🎄🎄🎄

Our first wreath making class was a big hit…..so many lovely wreaths, such concentration & creativity. A huge thank you to Anne & Philip, they worked so hard before, during & after the class……we are all really very grateful to you both 😊 & to Sandra & Jody for helping with the big (very) big clean up & also to they key holders of the Church for their patience. A massive thank you to our charity partner Caley Cruisers whose guests very generously donated £252.00 and this was doubled to £504.00 by Caley Cruisers. Absolutely fantastic!😀👏👏👍
What a lovely walk we had today at the UHI Campus, it was lovely & sunny & a coffee at Howdens! Oh & Christmas Reindeer too 😊
We had a lovely get together at the Cafe Botanic yesterday…..lots to talk about & some cracking ideas for festive fun……great to see everyone!

Fabulous walk today at the Islands, such a good laugh, everyone was in great form. And along the way some unusual trees, a dinosaur & a silver sun. What more could you ask for?? 😊
We had the best time on the Seagull Cruise today. Thank you so much to Skipper Neil & his crew & not forgetting Hamish who provided some wonderful music. Thank you so much & we will see you all again next year 😊
Today we went to see Brandon & Evija’s exhibition in the Botanic Gardens. It was a lovely experience & so nice to have Brandon (the celebrity) with us & to hear so many positive comments from others who were in the gardens at the time 😊The exhibition has not only raised awareness of SMART Syndrome but has also showcased Brandon’s talent as a photographer & his ability to capture beautiful images 🌟
What a busy morning we had…..we met at the Cafe Botanic & had a lovely visit from Gemma (CSHS) who had lots of info that she shared with members. We hope Gemma is going to become a regular visitor to the group!

A lovely day in the gardens today……A big thank you to Catherine who made a great job of planting lots of flowers & ferns & Maryanne who also made a great job of paintjng one of the picnic tables 💛 it was Graham’s birthday today & so we had lovely cakes & muffins baked by Graham’s mum Deborah! A glorious day in the gardens 😊 thanks to everyone.
And just like that…..we have flowers, plants & lots of bulbs planted. Picnic benches painted & things are really starting to take shape 🌷🌷 a big thank you to Craig & Nicky, Rob & Heather & Maggie! Team work really is dream work 💛
