Mikeysline is a charity that we hold very close to our hearts - a grass roots charity providing support to our community when they need it the most.

We are over the moon to announce that a whopping £34,000 was raised from our 3rd annual Mikeysline Golf Day, this year held at the breathtaking Nairn Golf Club. ☀️🌊⛳️. To all of those who supported, THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

At the halfway house, The Kingsmills team served up gourmet burgers and hotdogs to keep the players refreshed and back at the hotel, a fantastic awards ceremony followed which saw Team Barclays crowned the champions!

Our golfers & their guests then danced the night away to the incredible The Anne Dickson Band 💃🏻🕺🎶

The total raised is a HUGE boost to this charity and will continue to enable them to provide and expand the services they offer. In the last three years The Kingsmills Hotel (Between Golf Day & Ladies Day) have helped raise £195,000 for Mikeysline - a phenomenal amount for a charity that receives no statutory funding. Every single penny really does make such a difference.🐝✨

Next week, our team are taking part in the very first Highland Hospice Rowing Regatta! 🏅🌻 The team have been putting in the hours practicing on the canal, associates are completing a virtual rowing challenge to row the length of Loch Ness 🌊, AND last week all our departments came together for a huge bake sale... who knew we had so many talented bakers 🍰🍪 on the team!

From sweet baking to savoury sausage rolls 🥐🥖, the team put on an amazing spread and added an astonishing £510 pounds 💰 to their fundraising! That brings the total we've raised to just shy of £2000! 🎉🌻 Now we're off to shed the pounds we all simultaneously gained! 😅💪

This summer, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting Hugo and Hannah's stunning wedding! 💍✨ The sun came out for their garden ceremony, making it a perfect day from start to finish. 🌸☀️ We are over the moon to have received the most beautiful feedback from them and couldn't be happier to share their experience. 💖

"Both Hannah and I wanted to take the time to thank yourself, Rhiannon, and all the other staff involved at the Kingsmills, for making our day as special as it was. The whole day ran and flowed so smoothly, it allowed ourselves and all of our guests the opportunity to relax and enjoy our day, except when I was doing my speech! We also loved how adaptable and accepting you were to some of ridiculous ideas. The bowl of Cheerios for a starter comes to mind 😅

It was clear to see that you guys had thought of every detail. From allowing us to set up and make a mess of the Macleod room the day before, right through to the amazing display of sandwiches, cakes and cards when we entered our room at the end of the night. It was lovely touch that really caught us off guard😊

We would also like to pass on our thanks to the Chef. The quality of the cooking and presentation was incredible, and along with the couple extra plates that I somehow managed to get, ensured that no one left their tables hungry! It wasn't just the wedding breakfast where the food was fantastic, but the girl's meal on Wednesday night (which they were still talking about on the wedding day!) and for the brilliant hot buffet at night for all of our evening guests"

Team Kingsmills are taking part in a rowing regatta on the Caledonian Canal on 21st September! The team is made up of David, Rhiannon, Shona, and Fran, and we're ALL getting behind them! 🎉🌻

We're asked regularly how far it is into the city centre from the Kingsmills...and the truth is, it's not far at all!

Through the leafy residential area of Crown, a walk will take around 10-15 minutes to the High Street - and a little further down to the riverside. 🚶 If you overindulge on treats or end up with one-too-many shopping bags, there are buses every hour from the city to the Kingsmills Park stop, just outside the hotel! Now that's convenient! 🛍✨

The relaxing setting serves us well... close enough to the hustle and bustle so you get to enjoy the city, but with acres of surrounding parkland, sprawling gardens, views over Inverness Golf Club and plenty of free parking that makes for a truly chilled stay.

In true Kingsmills style, Tracey & Torin from Team Kingsmills were at the 11th tee serving up refreshments and challenging each team to a 'Chipping Challenge'... The wind and rain didn't dampen our spirits and we had one winner!

Donations were in aid of local mental health charity Mikeysline and what incredible generosity there was! 🐝 A huge thank you to all the players who helped add a further £890.50 to our remarkable Mikeysline total!
