Silly Coo Crafts

Well today was Thelma and Louise's last Hoorah, before back to work tomorrow.
We headed off on a wee jaunt to meet an old school friend for lunch, a spot of shopping, then we went for an ice cream and watched the coos in the milking parlour.
A Happy Coosday indeed!

Something a little different today.. I made this commission a while ago, and can now share it as it has been gifted to a fellow wildlife/camera lover.
This chap is all set for his puffin spotting expedition. He is kitted out in his camo gear, and is complete with his camera which actually flashes and makes shutter noises..its so cute!! 🤩
No serious wildlife explorer ever sets off without his binoculars..and more importantly his food supplies in preparation for a long day ahead. This lad is no different, and his backpack is stuffed with all his essentials for the day ahead..ie his sandwiches, cakes, and juice!!
It appears he gained a wee pal during his adventures!! 🐧 📸🥪🥖🍰🧋🍶.
I thoroughly enjoyed making this guy, I love making themed personalised gifts like this!

I haven't posted any of my coos in a while.. so i thought I'd show you this wee one to remind us of bluer skies...he is off to visit the lovely ladies at Novello Gifts today 🥰

These are todays creations.
I have bought lots of little 'props' to attach to my gnomes recently, so I thought I'd see how they looked. These could be attached for birthdays or other celebrations. Some are better suited to larger gnomes, and I ĺl have to work on how these can be attached.
Any suggestions on other attachments would be gratefully received 🥰

Yesterday Thelma and Louise's road trip took them over Glenshee to Braemar.. the Castle, Linn of Dee, then to my personal favourite The Flying Stag for lunch...
If Carlsberg did days out as they say....🥰😍.

Only we could go to Blairgowrie while their coo from The Hairy Highland Coo trail was away being repaired...so Thelma and Louise took it's place.
Of course, the original BIG Tree Coontry was returned soon after we left ..typical! 🙄

Thelma and Louise are heading out on a different sort of adventure today, one which doesn't involve coos..as they've seen plenty so far on this trip!

Well its Coosday again, and what an amazing adventure Ive had today!
The sun was shining and everything looked beautiful. My friend and I didnt have much of a plan other than Afternoon Tea, however we just had the best unplanned day out ever, and Ive managed to pick up some more mini teacups to craft with along the way in a local gem of a thrift shop...I cannot wait to use these. Oh and we found the most adorable herd of coos....and the cutest pair of coo earrings made by a local crafter too!!

On Saturday i found this cute little teaset in the local charity shop..im so pleased with how these guys turned out. I just love the colours 😍

This is a BIG coo I made at Christmas time for a family that own a herd of Fresian coos.
Do you think I should make more of these large coos? 🤔 I loved the wee bell on this one 😍

This afternoon, I made a special request to my ever so clever friend Susan at Little-J's State of Create .

Her brief was only, use your artistic flare to make me a sign saying not to pick my coos up by their horns...well she has surpassed all my expectations and has gone and made up a wee rhyme on my new sign!!
I'm absolutely delighted with this!! It's SUPER CUTE and exactly what I wanted.

Mini Moos..and MASSIVE COO!!!
I've been pottering about trying to use up bits n bobs of fur and have made more mini coos this week, but thought I'd try n make a large door stop too. I've often been asked about these, and have only made 2 previously, but I might make a couple as stock for Autumn events...

My 'supplier' has been working tirelessly in the background sourcing the components for the mini moos, and I felt I had to make some after all her hard work 😂 (many thanks Lynn 😘)
