Filpumps Appoint New Director

Pumps, controls and private water supply specialists, Filpumps Ltd, are proud to announce the promotion of Marc Elrick to the role of Sales Director.

Marc has been with Filpumps since 2013 working in Key Account Sales as a specialist in pumps and ancillary equipment. He joined the company with a strong mechanical background and a talent for building relationships with customers and key suppliers.

Marc started off his career as a motor mechanic, spending over 10 years in the industry before moving into pump sales, it was here that he discovered his talent for identifying and understanding customer needs. He is adept at guiding customers through the journey, utilising products with the most up-to-date technologies to meet, and even surpass, customer expectations.

‘We are delighted to have Marc stepping up to this new role. Investing in our staff is a huge part of the company ethos. Being able to reward the progress that Marc has made in his eleven years with the company is important to us”, commented Martin Booth, Managing Director at Filpumps. “He shows enthusiasm and passion in all that he does and we’re looking forward to seeing his ideas put into practice moving forward.”

Marc Elrick commented: “I am honoured to be taking on this new challenge. Filpumps is a great company to work for. This year we were delighted to find we had more than doubled our donation to Aberdeenshire North Foodbank (we collected 54.45kg donated December 2022).

The Foodbank collect and distribute food parcels locally to people and families in need. In November the Food Bank in Inverurie supported 62 households in Inverurie and its surrounding area, feeding 95 adults and 57 children.
