Well that's an experience π€£
I have started reading this book a long long time ago, kept putting it down, starting a novel, starting it again but once more reading something a bit "easier" "lighter" to read.
But this time, I have stuck with it.
And Wow!! This is just amazing, π€― only reading a few pages at a time as there is a lot of information
Why did I not read it sooner? Well I don't know why but one thing I know for sure now is: now I am ready β€οΈ
Ready to let go, ready to be ME!

"We are born to love and to be loved, material things to be used. We are living in a world completely upside down, where we love material things and we use humans.
Have a think on that..."
Françoise Rambaud
Happy Monday
Hope you have a week filled with what you love π
Still very true...
Put your phone away, close your laptop and head out...
Have a great weekend
Standing on the top of a mountain, I breathe in the limitlessness. I receive a magistral life lesson. What is simpler? What is richer?
We, well most of us, have lost it; we erased it by competitivity, buried under a mountain of technology. Irony, under the pretext of a simplified life, this technology, that we do qualify as high, this tool, so precious in our eyes, actually cut us from simplicity. Because this high tech disengages us from our inner senses.
Put it away this weekend and live a simple life
Happy Friday 13th...
Well it has been a busy week back to work and it is not finished πͺ
If you already feel like it is taking forever to reach the end of the month...
I can help with the massage, which hopefully will catch up with the 4 days of sleep and I can play beach music, burn candles that smell like cocktails.
I feel better thinking about it π€£π
I hope you all had a great weekend π

One of my constant battles with the kids...
TEXT NECK
Foward head posture, also known as text neck, is a condition where the position of the head moves forward from the centre of the shoulders.
I invite you to think about it for a moment, and how it can impact your entire body, muscles, skeleton structure.
Your centre of gravity changes, your upper body drifts backwards, your hips tilt forward. All this unnatural movement creates strain and stress, eventually pain, in various part of your body.
An average human head weighs about 4,5kgs (10lbs), it is perfectly balanced and postioned between the shoulders. BUT for every cm, that your head tilts forward, it adds extra tension to your neck, which in turns can lead to migraine, jaw pain...
Now think about all this kids, walking around doing all these injuries to themselves, ON A GROWING BODY!
Luckily for my kids, they have me π€£ as a massage therapist i can help loosening any tension around the neck, chest, shoulder and back and strengthen the weaker muscles. But ultimately, it is in your hand, be aware of your posture when you use phone and tablets.
MORNING!
So to recap my "beat the winter-blues" tips:
1- Go outdoors
2- Eat healthy
3- Have some "ME Time"
4- Spend time with Friends and family
5- Book your massage
If it feels it is too much to do... pick one and start with that, or combine two, go outdoors with friends, have some me time and book a massage...
It is not because things are difficult that we don't dare!
It is because we don't dare that things are difficult!
Try something new, sign up for a challenge.
Take one step towards your "out of comfort" zone! You know you can πͺ
Fate is like a sandstorm that keep changing direction. You change direction, but the sandstorm chases you. You turn again but the sandstorm adjusts, over and over you play this out...
WHY?
Because this storm isn't something that blew in from far away, something that has nothing to do with you!
This storm is YOU!
So all you can do is give in to it, step right inside the storm, close your eyes, walk through it, step by step... There is no sun, there is no moon, no direction, no sense of time! Feel the helping hand, breathe, take them...
And once the storm is finished, you wont remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. But one thing is certain when you come out of this storm you wont be the same person that walked in!
Do what's important to you π
When in Sicily, we found out that at the entrance of the roman theatre, this was engraved : "Stupete gentles" which means "Be prepared to be surprised"
Remember, life is a game, have fun and let yourself be surprised by your own potential
Tip 3 followed today!!
A bit of "ME TIME", book, cup of tea, cosy while it is raining outside
When was the last time you had some ME TIME?
And finally tip 5, the most important!
BOOK IN FOR A MASSAGE
Shake off all the aches and pain, relax those tired muscles and clear your mind with a feel-great massage.
Why not book a neck and shoulders, where all the tension has been building up or try something new like reflexology ...
Tip 4
PLAN SOME FUN ACTIVITIES WITH FAMILY/FRIENDS
Spend more time with your favourite people. Have a night out together, enjoy a nice meal, or just a chat over a coffee (or wine). Chatting and laughing with friends helps us to de-stress and gives us an endorphin boost. Work and family commitment have a tendency to take over, but it is important we find time to have fun with friends.
Tip 3
RESERVE SOME ME TIME
There is always time to find time for some ME TIME. it is often the case that we spend plenty of time taking care of others, but forget the give ourselves the amount of love, time, rest.
So now is time for a hot bath with relaxing essential oils, or listen to some soulful music, curl up on your sofa with your favourite cover and grab a book, or even get out of the house once in a while and join some yoga class or craft class.
Allow yourself that time as often as possible
Happy Bonfire night
I hope your life is as loud and colorful than a firework π₯ ππ
Tip 2 to fight those winter blues.
FEED YOUR BODY WITH THE RIGHT FOOD
It is especially important during the winter months to eat the right types of food. Listen to your body, it will tell you what you need. Some recommend RED food as they give you energy and are full of vitamins, cranberry, red apples, red grapes, rosehip syrup, beetroot, red onion, red pepper... and yes, red wine also π·
Top tip to fight the winter blues.
It is normal to feel a bit flat over the winter months. as we go into the New year, the days are short and dark, the sun seems to be behind the clouds most days and the cold weather gets into our bones.
We can experience low energy levels, tend to be less physically active, and the lack of light can affect out mood.
It is so easy to shut off from the world, stay at home by the fore with a glass of wine, put the tv on and retreat to ourselves. BUT...
i would like to suggest an alternative this year.
Tip 1: GO OUTDOORS!
Even if it is cold, even if it is overcast, even if it is raining... the fresh air will do you the world of a good. Go for walk around the park, in the forest, near the sea - 30min is perfect. Reconnect with nature. This will recharge your batteries, and it is great for your general fitness too. if you feel more ambitious go up that hill or go for a cycle.
Tip 2: find out tomorrow π
