This job came off the back of a recommendation from another customer that we installed a solar system for.

Here we installed 8kw of PV coupled with a 6kw inverter and 10kwh of battery. This system has been installed on a new build with the intention of offsetting the running cost of their electric heat pump.

Last week’s install completed by the Volt team. Was a cold few days with the wind blowing off the river Orwell but the team didn’t disappoint. 🥶

8 430watt panels east and 8 430watt panels west. 6kw and of course 10kwh of batteries.

Within 3 days the customer was generating his own energy. 🤩

💡 Lighting 💡

Our customer contacted us with the idea of lighting up this grand hallway in their beautiful period property. Through considered planning and design, we were able to achieve the desired effect. 🗒️

Using for the floor lights, these really do give the wow factor 🤩. We teamed up with for this project using their control 4 system for the lighting controls.

As we open the doors today to a new year and a fresh start thought we would take a look back to a large solar project completed towards the end of the year.

This system consisted of

☀️120 x 415watt panels

☀️ 50kw inverter (ready for more PV)

🔋 10kw Solax battery inverter

🔋 11.2kwh of Solax battery storage

💰 This installation is set to pay for itself in just under 5 years with the customer making the most of his SEG payments at 0.16p per kw. 💰

This month we are booked in to go back to install another 17.4kwh of battery storage 🔋 and 2 x EV chargers 🚗 STAY TUNED!!

Just a cheeky little install of a that we installed a few weeks back.

Completed last week by the team. This install is set to save the customer 70% of there total energy usage.

Install consist of:

✅ 15 x Jinko 430watt panels

✅ 1 x 6kw Solis Hybrid Inverter

✅ 3 x US3000c Pylontech Batteries

🚗🔋EV Charger 🔋🚗

Excited to have installed our first EV charger to power this stunning

As we look into future proofing this Customer for their electrical needs we decided to install the Puredrive EV charger. Soon our customer will have a solar installation installed and we will pair it with Puredrive batteries.

This system will be able to automate how and when to charge, store and consume energy. All this using green energy and a tariff suited to them.

🚗 EV Charging 🚗

Last week we installed another zappi for a customers company car.

This charger is programmed to charge the company direct rather than the end users utility bill.

We even lifted the slabs to gain access for the cable and then re laid… all in house.

Another great installation by the team.

🐟 Fisherman’s Paradise 🐟

We recently installed an off grid solar system for this Shepard’s hut used for overnight stays by keen fisherman.

This 5kw system consists of:
8 x 425watt panels
1 x 5kwh battery
1 x 5kw inverter

This system runs - lighting, power and water heater.

We really enjoyed working on this project and the best but about it is - it’s powered purely from the ☀️

☀️In Roof Solar ☀️

Did you know that we can design and instal in-roof solar for any new build / extension. We can Evan retrofit if desired.

We recently installed this 21 panel in roof system to a cafe in Bury St Edmonds to help with their energy bills.

Thanks to the change in Part L Building regulations, we will start to see more of this now as we move forward into new build development.

As the UK targets to meet Net 0 by 2030, architects and developers are being forced to pay more attention to new energy performance ratings of new buildings. it is for that reason why SAP regulations become such a focus point for not just New Builds but for conversions and extensions also.

Customer set us up with the mission of installing solar PV to their outbuilding while installing the inverter and 20kwh of batteries into one side of their cupboard located in the annex.

In the design process we oversized the battery storage to take advantage of their 7 hour economy window at 7p per kw.

Customer this time already had a Solar installation and so wanted to utilise their excess generation.

We installed a ac coupled system in line with their solar to not only store the excess but to also have a fully integrated app monitoring import / export and real time solar generation.

O yea… and we also installed a zappi whilst we were there too 💚
