Unfortunately due to a power outage close to the salon, I have no electricity today(16/05/23)and it’s estimated by UK Power that it won’t be until 3-4pm this afternoon that power will be restored. As my diary is on my computer I am also not able to access it to know which clients had appointments today. With the final easing of restrictions on the 19th July, I wanted to let you all know how The Gentle Touch will be moving forward. After much consideration I have decided on the the following:
😷Masks will still be required in the salon unless you are exempt. With CoVid infection rates still rising and being in close contact during treatments I feel this is a sensible approach for the time being.
✋🏻Please continue to use the hand sanitiser before coming up the stairs.
🤒If you test positive, are feeling unwell, have a temperature or any CoVid related symptoms please call to rearrange your appointment.
⏰Please arrive no more than 5mins before your appointment. I will still be operating a “one in, one out” client system in the salon.
🧍‍♀️Please arrive alone unless you are accompanying another member of your household who also has an appointment.
🪣🧽I will be continuing with my current regular sanitising of all hard surfaces.
I will reassess these procedures regularly over the coming months and make changes in accordance with the industry guidelines, CoVid statistics and with how you, my clients, are feeling.

It’s official! Hurray!
Following the Government announcement today, I will be reopening the salon on Monday 12 April!

From tomorrow, I will be contacting all clients that had an appointment booked during lockdown. This will be done chronologically, beginning with when I closed on the 23rd December. I will then be contacting clients on my waiting list. This is obviously going to take some time with many phone calls to make, so please be patient with me.

The online booking system has been disabled and will stay that way until I have booked everyone in. I hope to enable it again beginning of next week.

The 12th April is almost here!😃Not long to go now people until I can open The Gentle Touch salon doors once again. I intend to start calling all my lovely clients to begin rebooking appointments from Tuesday. Obviously this is going to take a little time so please bear with me and don’t panic if you don’t hear from me straight away.🙏🏻So looking forward to seeing all of you and having a good natter!🥰❤️xx

Just under 4 weeks to go!🤞🏻This is your warning to put the razor/trimmer/depilatory cream away, if you’ve been doing some self-maintenance!🛁🪒 You will need at least 3-4weeks hair growth for successful waxing. Equally, if you’ve been letting it all go over lockdown 🦧you may need to trim a little for comfort before you come in. Looking forward to seeing each and every one of you!!😘❤️
