The things people don’t see. Restringing bows, setting the bracing heights and installing knocking points. 20 bows takes a while. For those with a keen eye the knocking points are deliberately set wide on 12 of the bows as they are for the battle archery which use wide knocks on the arrows.

This Saturday gone, we was back at The Menagerie Festival again for the second year running. Lovely small festival at Pitchcott Hill Farm Aylesbury. With strong winds forecast we set up in the barn instead of the open fields. Didn’t turn out bad and everyone still got the opportunity to come and shoot some arrows.

Had an absolute blast at Sams 18th birthday yesterday. Thank you Claire for trusting Axes and Arrows to provide your sons party entertainment. What an amazing bunch you are, a real pleasure, thank you all.

Great time providing axe throwing for a small corporate event today. Big thank you to Compliance Building Control for hiring us to provide their post lunch entertainment. Really enjoyable event, in a beautiful location.

Axes & Arrows will be back at The Tendring Show for 2023!! Providing have a go Axe throwing and Archery activities. To inflation, we say NO! Our prices will remain the same as last year, Just £5 per person gets you either 10 axes or 10 arrows on our range. We will be adding extra targets this year to reduce waiting time to a minimum. Our instructors will be on hand every minute of the day to provide tuition and ensure everyone has a safe and rewarding experience.
