Melanie said "My partner Jon is a paramedic working for the Isle of Wight NHS Trust has been struggling with PTSD following a traumatic job and has been supported by TASC.
"Our ambulance crews do an amazing job often in very difficult circumstances and I was inspired by them to take on this challenge even though up until December I hadn't run in four years!
"I would be so grateful to anybody who would like to contribute even just a pound for this great cause".

A huge thank you to Jussna Mateen, a Biomedical Scientist, and the Friends of St Mary's Hospital for funding a small but incredible piece of equipment known as an EMMA device.
The EMMA device is a pocket size portable capnograph which measures the amount of carbon dioxide exhaled in a patient’s breath.
It enables resuscitation and critical care teams to provide the highest standard of advanced life support when a patient collapses in any environment where they are not already attached to high tech monitoring system.
This fantastic and generous donation is so valuable and has already made a difference to patients and teams in its first two weeks of being used.
Thank you ❤️💛 💚 💙
Feeling lonely is something that all of us can experience at any point in our lives, which can have negative impacts on our health and wellbeing.
There are lots of simple things that you can do to help others who may be feeling lonely:
📞 Give a friend or family member a call
🚶♀️ Invite someone for a walk
☕ Reach out to those you haven’t heard from for a cuppa
You might find that reaching out to someone else could help you to feel less lonely too.

A huge thank you to Olivia, James and their family for their generous donation to the Special Care Baby Unit - IOW NHS after their daughter Amelie spent some time on the ward.
Their donation, arranged by Olivia’s sister Harriet through her position as a Head of House at Ryde School, provided the ward with a brand new tumble drier so they can wash and dry all of the babies clothes and a huge box of developmental care items for future babies and families on the unit; such as feeding pillows, large muslin cloths for wrapped bathing and weighing, and music boxes.
This will positively support the babies neurodevelopment, and in turn make their stay more comfortable.
Thank you so much to you all 💙 ❤️ 💛 💚
Do you love knitting or crocheting?

Thanks to everyone who has donated these types of items in the past too 💙
