Hello again, well here’s my big news…….. At some point in the next few weeks (I hope) I will be TEMPORARILY going mobile, for Reiki and Seated Massage. Sadly, Beauty Facials will not be available while I am operating a mobile service.

We are currently getting ready to move house well, when I say move house…… the current house is on the market, and we are in the process of buying a plot of land……….to build a bungalow. Utterly mad I know but, we have previous on this one. We “built” the current house 32 years ago…. when we had two and a half year old twins (crazy people) and we have extended it twice but, it’s now time to downsize. Needless to say, we will have to live in temporary accommodation while we are building so, I won’t have a therapy room for a while……. until the new house is complete.

As I said earlier, this won’t be happening for a few weeks but, I wanted to give you all some notice of the changes, particularly those who like a wee facial pamper! For the moment, I am still working from my current therapy room, and all treatments are still available so, get in touch and get those appointments booked before the big move!!

If any of you have unspent vouchers, please get in touch with me as soon as you can, and I’ll get you booked in before the madness takes over!!

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well this sunny (but cool) day. It’s been a while since I last posted (again!!) and there are a number of reasons for that. I’ve had a bit of bother with the old fibro, and then I got covid again (3rd time!!) but, I am much better now. I've also been really busy with something else but, more of that later!!

Although I’ve not been on here much, I have been working away at my usual Care Home sessions but, very sadly, one of them will finish this Friday – Montrose Care Home in Foxbar will be closing next week so, this coming Friday will be my last visit 😢😢😢. On the plus side, some of the residents are moving to the other council homes I work in – Hunterhill and Renfrew so, I am hoping I will be able to continue the service there. I also visit Kingsley Care Home to offer Reiki, and sometimes massage, to the residents there. I have to say I really enjoy this work and, despite some of the sad moments, overall I find it very rewarding, and I am sooo grateful to have been given the opportunity to work in the Care Homes.

BIG CHANGES ARE COMING – there will be some major changes in the next few months but, I don’t like long posts so, I’ll leave that teaser with you; watch this space for the next update (I promise it will be SOON)

So………Calamity Jane strikes again!!! I had an accident a couple of weeks ago and hurt my foot; the recovery is going well, and I am now back at work. However. I won’t be able to offer seated massage sessions for another couple of weeks. Reiki and beauty facials are unaffected, as I can sit while doing both of these.

Tomorrow I will be back at the Tannahill Centre at the Turning Point Fayre. I am offering relaxing Reiki taster sessions for £10, with a special offer for future bookings made at the fayre. If you are in the area, pop in and say hi.

FEEL GOOD FEBRUARY HAS ARRIVED!
This Saturday is the Feel Good February Fair, run by the amazing Amanda from The Butterfly Room. I’ll be there again doing Reiki tasters and hand pampers, so come along and enjoy some “me” time. There will be massages, card readings, craft stalls and a loads more to see. We’re on the middle floor of the Paisley Centre, in the old Co-Op, and we’re open from 11 til 4. Hope you can drop by.

Hi everyone, hope you have all had a good start to 2024. I’ve had a busy start, some of it good, some of it not so good but, it’s onward and upward we go.

There are few things in the pipeline that I will be sharing with you over the next week or so. The first one is the Feel Good February Fair that Amanda from The Butterfly Room is hosting on Saturday February 3rd; I’ll be doing Reiki tasters and Hand Pampers again and, I look forward to seeing anyone who is able to drop in that day. Hi everyone, I hope you are all well. Sorry for my absence the last few months; I've been having some fibro issues and then I got covid! Doing better now, thankfully.

Although I haven't been on here, I have been working - in three care homes. I share Reiki with some of the residents and, I also get the chance to help some of the staff, by offering them a short session of either Reiki or seated massage. They all seem to be enjoying the sessions and, it is definitely helping them.

I've been thinking about making some changes to what I do, and there will be some announcements to follow over the next couple of weeks. I'll also be taking part in another "Feel Good Fair", run by the amazing Amanda from The Butterfly Room, so watch out for the details of that too. Hope to see you all soon

So, this time next week I will be in Paisley, taking part in the Sma’ Shot Day Feel Good Fair. It’s being run by the amazing Amanda of The Butterfly Room, who ran the very successful Feel Good February Fair. Like the Feel Good February Fair, this event is also being held in The Art Department Paisley which, for those who don’t know, is the old Co-Op building in the Paisley Centre. We will be on the middle floor.

I’ll be doing taster sessions and hand pampers and there will be other holistic therapists there too. There will also be lots of “makers” selling all the beautiful items that they have been busy making. Why not come along at 11:00 next Saturday then, when the Sma’ Shot Day parade passes at lunch time, you can nip out and watch it too. There are no appointments available on Tuesday mornings or, at any time on a Friday. These are the two days that I work in the Care Homes, sharing Reiki with the residents in the morning sessions, and offering Reiki or Seated massage to the staff on a Friday afternoon. Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying this beautiful sunny day. It is quite cold but, I like my cozy, snuggly jumpers lol.

I announced last month that, sadly, I was having to put my prices up, so here's the new price list.

You'll see that there are a couple of new treatments on this list. I've added a hand pamper and, a new addition to the top end of the facials list. Go on, treat yourself, or buy a voucher for someone close!

Mothers day is just under 2 weeks away, why not treat your mum to a lovely relaxing pamper. Vouchers are available direct from me or, you can just scan the code on the price list, for the electronic version.
