ESOL with Forest School at Cliffe Castle 🍃
A pioneering project which combines english learning with wellbeing lead only done by Eden Community Association
2500 steps done today.
Today the ladies walked around Cliffe Castle and used different games and pictures to identify and name objects and items from their surrounding.
Ladies were so intrigued that herbal tea could be made from plants that they felt was toxic and was actually beneficial to their health.
The ladies really enjoyed the game where they used the last letter of a word given to them to name something from nature. Students fedback, although they were going to college to learn English in a classroom based environment, they felt it was beneficial learning English in a more practical and fun way using the surrounding, while it being beneficial for their wellbeing.
