North Yorkshire Police calls for young artists’ Christmas creativity 🎄🎅☃️

North Yorkshire Police has launched a competition for the county’s young creatives to design a Christmas card with the chance to win a VIP police visit to their school. 👮‍♀️👮🚓

The competition is open to anyone aged 4 to 16 years old and the design needs to be festive-themed and feature a police officer, police dog or police vehicle – or all three! 👮🐕‍🚓🎄☃️

The best designs will be posted on North Yorkshire Police’s social media channels and as well as the overall winner receiving a police visit for their school, we’ll have a number of runner up prizes for artistic talent too. 🎁

If you’d like to take part, you’ll need your parent or carer to help you fill in the form and then all that’s left is to get creative!

Once it’s all filled in, ask an adult to email it to us at: 📧[email protected]

We’ll be posting our favourite designs on our social media channels w/c 13 December and will announce the winners on Friday 17 December with prizes to be sent out in the New Year.

North Yorkshire Police Digital Police Community Support Officer, Carlos Archer, said:
“We often get amazing artistic creations sent in to our police stations and so we wanted to open up a competition to encourage you all to get involved.
“We already know there is a lot of talent out there and we can’t wait to see what you come up with!”

With Earth day coming up I'm trying my best to find even more eco friendly ways to run my business.
I already create and use handmade paper in my embellishments.
My Country Crafts logo stamp is made by the eco company Get Stamped.
I am currently designing my handmade business cards on my recycled paper.
I have just made paper seed bombs and intend to make seed paper to also use as embellishments!
