River Worth Friends, Get Out More CIC and Aire Rivers Trust teamed up last week to continue improving the river Worth corridor.
The gang planted hundreds of Crocus bulbs to the grass verge between Footpath 82 and the river Worth- look out for a burst of colour next year!

Keighley Green Drinks returns tomorrow- TUESDAY 28th November
Guests are Rob Gale from Move2Change CIC, Dr David Spicer from the University of Bradford and Pippa Chapman from Transition Town Keighley.
Rob will be sharing stories from his passion for the outdoors, David will be talking about how the University supports enterprise and how a circular economy delivers for business and society. Pippa will be kicking off a visioning for future greener Keighley.

Keighley Big Local awarded £20,000 of Local Trust funding to the Aire Rivers Trust to deliver the "River Worth Restoration Project"
We also secured £50,000 from the Keighley Towns Fund for Aire Rivers Trust to improve access and enhance habitats along the river Worth corridor- and its great to see so much happening! 😀
Keighley Footpaths 302 and 77 "The Walk" are being cleared for resurfacing in December.

Keighley Big Local and Parkwood Community Group helped Hainworth Wood Community Centre and Keighley Area Coordinator to secure £7500!! from the Mayors Safer Communities Fund by hosting a cone-sultation🍦🍦🍦
We knocked on doors and asked residents to share their needs, wants, ideas, opinions and how they could help in return for an ice-cream.

'Autumn Gardening' comes to an end this year on SATURDAY 28th OCTOBER with a final gardening session at Hainworth Wood Community Centre followed by a Community Meal.
If you have taken part in our gardening sessions at Red Holt, Parkwood or Hainworth it would be great to see you to celebrate a great year of growing!
