You’ll probably find me clutching broken tree branches, buckled knees, wind in my messy hair like a 90’s Micheal Jackson in ‘Earth Song’ ugly sobbing, fluid pouring from my eyes and nose because Emily and Ollys big day came and ended far too soon.

If you don’t understand that reference I’m absolutely 100% too old to be your Florist. Thank god for for capturing the smaller details to soften the blow of my heartache and allow me to remember HOW STUNNING ALL THIS WAS.

For the sake of sounding even more tragic ((in for a penny)) please book me if you’re getting married because I love it here and my style literally compliments it like Salt does Pepper.

My attention to detail and the way it matches closely with my experience of how other suppliers work, the light and set up of venues and the quality of product that ensures you receive.

I particularly understand where and how your photographer will need to stand to get shots based on your ceremony set up and guest count.

I understand that florals you may not see or interact with on the day mean nothing to you, but that having the backs of your decor as beautiful as the front WILL translate in your images. There will be SO many things you don’t notice I’ve even done, until you get your images back.

My attention to detail across the board will not let you down. The quality of the service I provide will be an investment that rewards you long after the day has gone, this is something feedback is consistent on and I couldn’t be prouder of that.

A little sneak at tomorrow’s unfiltered soft colour scheme… Blue and White has been HUGE this year and is looking likely to be just as big in 2025.

Here however, the introduction of peach tones evokes soft summer feels and in a red hued barn setting - helps bring the look of both the florals and the venue together.

Peach Florals can be by nature very rigid, however the inclusion of florals that can be reflexed and manipulated allows for the light and airy intentional organic look to be kept.

Fresh and Light but also Warm and Earthy.

The dance of the sweet peas, one I’ll love forever - for all their bends, folds and breaks they always come out looking the more beautiful because of it.

The FIRST DAHLIA of The Season for The Taylors. A little bit of burnt colours at the start not the end of Summer. Charlotte The Bride, will for me, always be the archetype of classic beauty.

Thankful to all the growers, suppliers and wholesalers I’ve built relationships with to be able to source florals when they’re incredibly limited or rare.

You won’t know this and I hate to go fully nerd on you, but that was bloody HARD to do. I’m pretty chuffed with how all the time invested in colour theory these last several months, is really paying off in design dynamic.

I have obsessed over these gorgeous images by all evening and morning. Such a true colour reflection of the florals. Thank you to Craig for sharing these and being so delightful to work with on the day. He is absolutely superb.

This one’s for the established Florists, the Florists Florist and WEDDING SUPPLIERS or WORKERS who may be struggling just as the season begins. The topic is ‘undercutting’ let’s go…

Never have I ever gone in cheaper than a competitive Supplier to either a) get ahead or b) secure a gig *lots of suppliers take a drink*

This is why I’m absolutely against and why if you’re just starting out you SHOULD BE too - discounts, quote sharing and or offering a lower price than your areas mark up. Floristry is min x3

1. Firstly and most importantly, it cheapens you, it makes others question both quality and experience BUT significantly it cheapens your worth as a tradesperson. It can undermine existing couples when the discounts are only for ‘bouji’ venues and dramatically affect your reputation amongst buyers. IRONICALLY, there is MUCH MORE floral money in less ‘bouji’ venues but that’s a topic for another day 😊

2. Believe it or not, lots of suppliers who are experienced and established take abuse from people who want things ‘cheaper’. I’ve had people tell me they know where I live because I refused to price match another florist or keep a quote open for longer than 10 days, I’ve had potential customers dramatically storm off because they thought the reality of pricing was a reflection of me taking them for a ride NOT the reality of COST, I’ve been threatened, called a bitch etc - ALL BECAUSE SOMEONE WANTED SOMETHING LESS THAN MARK UP. Going in lower literally validates this behaviour, it justifies an angry grooms visceral aggressive reaction to costing WHILST taking money out your pocket.

3. It will come back round FAST. You won’t find yourself working with a rational business model that allows for growth and forecasting. You’ll be burnt out too soon. You’ll attract more of said customers, become associated with that and not find the networking pool you need to be able to swim deeper and move to the surface for air if you’re struggling to breathe.

It’s only TUESDAY and Ive already faced abuse that has then become legitimised because ‘AS FU***NG IF, we found someone local MUCH cheaper’

I’m first and foremost a girls girl. Throughout the whole process, our relationship will develop organically alongside your concepts which I’ll strive to bring to life beyond your expectations. I’ll be there to sew you into your dress if needs be, put all your relatives buttonholes on and work behind the scenes to repurpose and restyle all your wedding florals throughout your day. It will be as important to me as my own big day, minus nervous drinking and being smashed by 2pm.

I’m insanely proud of my reviews across a few platforms, feel free to check them out. Reviews aside, I’m award winning for design and colour and have been featured and recommended in various respected magazine and media platforms unfunded. Big whoop right? Not really tbh but you can tell your posh friend’s your Florist comes vogue recommended.

My favourite part of any wedding is getting mentioned in the grooms , brides or FOB’s speech - which happens in maybe 20% and I consider one of the greatest compliments. I keep a tally… Like a little creep.

If you need honest advice, practical advice and real talk about where NOT to spend money. I’m here for it. I work with budgets, not to them. I’m not here to spend your money or max out your card. I just want to get through the year with a new pair of crocs.

I work with not against other Florists but will give my sharp opinion on anyone who either A undercuts to get ahead or B isn’t qualified or experienced- I respect the art of Floristry and value my own time and the time and craft of my Florist Friends.

If it isn’t working, you can have your deposit back no questions. My part in your day is tiny. It’s your dreams I curate. Nothing about your day starts and ends with me, there is no ego.

I’m passably funny.

Wishing you all a happy new year, especially to all my 2024 couples who I just can’t wait to work with!

Whilst I never do internal resolutions - this year I have decided to do one.

Well two really. Firstly, I’m going to give myself two days off a week. Four years of building a business with no consistent breaks and full time parenting has put me in flight or fight mode and I need to learn how to relax without the claws of anxiety digging into my back. I think everyone who is self employed and a parent will deeply understand the toxicity of not striking that balance correctly. I’ve been excited and invested in each of my weddings and I want to ensure I retain that throughout this wonderful journey.

And secondly and most importantly, I’ve struggled this year with negativity, being sucked into the overwhelming concern of the thoughts, words and conversations of others. In an industry that can be very competitive and sometimes very cruel, it’s safe to say it makes me feel deeply uncomfortable and can easily spiral into dread…

…Which is why I’ve decided to focus on the beauty and positivity that exists in the world, put more efforts into the ongoing charity work I do and to outsource one random act of kindness each day.

More on that as it develops but expect our charity to take a front seat rather than a back seat this year. Including a dedicated page to all the charitable work that happens behind the scenes that every single one of you has helped to happen.

So excited to spend this year with you all and enjoy each month as it develops, sending all my love to my supplier friends, couples and followers.
