Duvet day
😍 Who doesnt love a duvet day 😍
For the first time in 5 weeeks I've found a couple of stray hours where I can't think of any thing to be doing and I'm absolutely taking advantage of it by getting under the duvet to get warm whilst doing a little admin work..
With the house move on Friday literally right on top of us now its been absolute madness around here but I think I can finally say I have done as much as I possibly can untill well atleast Thursday 🎉🎉🏡
I'm actually far more excited about having a whole floor in the new place dedicated solely to Awokenattic than I am about the actual home part of the house 😂 As much as the space isn't going to be much different to now atleast my kitchen is no longer going to be used for painting 🎉🎉
I actually spend alot of my time cleaning up between changing the kitchen from a workshop and back into a useable kitchen for family meal times etc so I'm sure this is just going to be a huge bonus to productivity although I will miss being able to parent and work at the same time but hey there is one bonus I'll be less able to hear my kids and their lovely bickering with one another and they ll have to come to me to inform me of the whole she said she said shenanigans 😂😂😂
Im super excited to get my space all set up and I'll be sure to show you how It all works out next week 😊
To change the handles or not?
Change the drawer pulls or not? Hated them but the drawers came with them on, then I couldn't remove two so I put the rest back on and kinda like them now it's painted 😂 (not a finished piece yet. Bits to fix and touch up including needing a replacement rim on the bottom drawer.
But help me out?

I've been working on my own drinks unit that I'm going to be selling soon due to having no space for it in our new house. Just been doing the steps I never got around to last year to get it ready for sale. 😢 Will be sad to see it leave.

I also want to apologise for being so super quiet this January with Illnesses and big unexpected changes happening for my family ive had to put a slight break on the furniture but I assure you I'm working my hardest to get back to it full time soon!

Just a little video showing a little bit of the process behind a piece I am working on this week 😍 in no way finished yet but here's a little sneak peak
Using this gorgeous decoupage paper from its so chic interiors and this wonderful mineral paint from vintage with grace in colour peacock - a lush teal shade I'm in the process of creating this stunning bespoke unit with a lift up top compartment and ample shelving below.. Making it perfect to use as a drinks cabinet or storage for a record player and your vinyl collection... But really the sky's your limit on what you could store in this.

Hi guys 👋👋
Never in my life put anything video based on Facebook defo not anything that my voice is in 😂 but here goes I thought I'd do a little tour for my followers and anyone else who lands upon the page of some of the painted furniture I have listed for sale to give you a more real life experience of some of them.
Guess it reminds me of being abit like when we was buying our car they sent us a video tour before we signed up to traveling all the way to York to collect it 😂
To anyone who knows me I'm not even sure that's my voice I think I have maybe subconsciously put on a new one for the benefit of this video I know I defo forced my self to speak slower than my normal speed 😂😂😂😂

Logo vinyl transfer
I thought I'd use this super clever device (cricut joy) to create a branding logo in vinyl for the back of my furniture designs and Im happy with how it's turned out 😍
Bare with my first tiktok video but think I managed it 😂
If the furniture makers got to stamp their company's name on the furniture why cant I stamp my name on my redesigned furniture 😂
Now off to order more vinyl in that colour ❤️
