Torchlight have moved out of their mealbank store, many of the art works have been donated to Eden Festival and to Solfest. Some like the tall mushrooms are stored with Andri Thwaites for future use at Jess’s wedding and the healing area at Solfest. Some have been dismantled to be burned at my next party, poss my 60th😳! I’m left with two of the three big snail lanterns and two days to find a home for them. I’d like them to live on a bit, I know there are more important things in the world to save than my snails but if you know of a storage space please get in touch. Thank you 😊😘🐌
I am exhibiting two pieces at .exhibitions alongside .illustration throughout December and January so please do pop in for a look!
Thank you to and .exhibitions for hosting my work
Check out the imaginative and vibrant fantasy animals created by the talented pupils at George Romney Junior School during their summer term Arts Day. They had a blast making their colourful, creatures and giving them equally wonderful names to fit their character. It was a pleasure to share in the children's excitement as they learned some pattern cutting skills to translate their drawings into textile art
I loved being a part of the children's excitement as they learned to make fantasy fabric animals during their summer term Arts
Day. This is my 3rd year working with George Romney Junior School's and it is always a rewarding experience because the school has a genuine arts focus
Big thanks to Alison Roberts for organising the George Romney Junior School summer term Arts Day. It was a fantastic day for all of the artists and pupils. In the class I was working with the children drew many ideas and chose their best mythical/ fantasy/ imaginary animal to create a colourful cloth creature which was full of character.

Young artists from Cumbria delighted to see their piece exhibited in London YO artists from Cumbria were delighted to see their work exhibited in London last month.
It was wonderful to work for Waveforward Mental Health charity on Ulrike Daukandt’s, Discovery Program with pupils at Queen Katherine School. The charity is “Driving the vision of better mental wellbeing for young people across the South Lakes. Engaging young people and developing their potential to flourish.” The paintings created by pupils (14-15yrs), were therapeutic, and carefully considered, like this one with skilled use of a personal doodle pattern & colour. All the works were large & courageous and will be exhibited in the School. We had a great exhibition and celebration with the young people and their families at the end of this rewarding program.
I enjoyed working for Waveforward Mental Health charity on Ulrike Daukandt’s, Discovery Program with pupils at Queen Katherine School. The charity is “Driving the vision of better mental wellbeing for young people across the South Lakes. Engaging young people and developing their potential to flourish.” The paintings created by pupils (14-15yrs) were therapeutic, and fun to create, like this graffiti inspired, spontaneous repeat of a personal motif. The colourful and courageous paintings and will be hung in the School. We had a wonderful celebration with the young people and their families at the end of this rewarding program.
Thoroughly enjoyed my time working for Waveforward Mental Health charity on the Discovery Program with pupils at Queen Katherine School. The charity is “Driving the vision of better mental wellbeing for young people across the South Lakes. Engaging young people and developing their potential to flourish.” The paintings created by pupils (14-15yrs) were therapeutic, and beautifully designed like this wonderful expression of colour and pattern. All were large and courageous and will be hung in the School. We had a memorable exhibition and celebration with the young people and their families at the end of this rewarding program.
A wonderful result after working with Ulrike Daukandt’s on her Discovery Program with pupils at Queen Katherine School. The focus is “Engaging young people and developing their potential to flourish.” The paintings created were therapeutic, expressive, colourful and courageous and will be hung in the School. We had a wonderful exhibition and celebration with the young people and their families at the end of this rewarding program.
A great result after working for Waveforward Mental Health charity on Ulrike Daukandt’s excellent Discovery Program with pupils at Queen Katherine School, who have low attendance. The charity is “Driving the vision of better mental wellbeing for young people (14-15yrs on this project) across the South Lakes. Engaging young people and developing their potential to flourish.” The paintings created were therapeutic and a like this one a creative mix of carefully considered colours, text and paint applied spontaneously. All were colourful and courageous and will be exhibited in the School. We also had a wonderful exhibition and celebration of the young people with their families at the end of this rewarding program.
