Embroidery roses I’ve been working on, practice runs for a larger piece. A poem I wrote also
I was up late again last night
Into early hours, but still moonlight
This was not insomnia, for I sleep tight
Yet there I was, sitting up deep into the night
So what was I doing up so late
What needed doing which just couldn’t wait
Embroidery of course, stitch after stitch
Try to put it down, but I get the embroiders twitch
Wide awake I am, needle and thread
Stitching away, should I go to bed?
In a minute, I’ll just finish this bit
Go to bed Jo, stop being a tit
Up late I was again last night
The tiredness overwhelms, but still I fight
My eyes are tired, blurry sight
I’ll just finish this bit, then go to bed…….. I might

Recent trip to North Wales. I do love mountains, miners, pyg and rangers paths, Snowdon. Role on September, when I’ll be back where I belong, Brecon Beacons.
So here it all is. From the sales of my Christmas door wreaths, this is what I have purchased for Catching Lives in Canterbury for the homeless and I shall be taking it all to them tomorrow. 10 pop up tents, ten sleeping bags, 4 new fleeces and foods and drinks they need. Plus UHT milk which i forgot to photograph.
Thank you to everybody who bought a wreath from me, look at how it will help some people.
I've also got a pile of clothing from lovely friends too which the shelter can't take at the moment, but I'll take it as soon as I'm allowed to. Thank you all so much ❤❤🤍
