Another successful barbecue completed today

Just finished the 5 day barbecue event at The Big Cat Sanctuary at Smarden. Variety of weathers but still good. Now to rest sore feet!!!

Lovely casual wedding reception today at Green hill Farm. Bride and groom requested canapes and then savoury food to go down each table.

Thank you to all our staff who have worked at The Big Cat Sanctuary over the past 5 days. It has been busy, exhausting and as per the past 10 years that we have worked there, very enjoyable and lovely to meet all the staff and volunteers again, not forgetting the animals

Busy Monday

It's been a busy weekend for us. Two functions, one for the Mayor of Maidstone and one for the christening of our grandchildren, both choosing range of cold meats and salads

Looking forward to doing the BBQ at the Jubilee Celebrations on 4th June on the Surrenden Field.

Its always lovely to receive complimentary e mails. We worked for the Mayor of Maidstone on Friday evening but unfortunately she was unable to attend because she had Covid!

Thank you so much for Friday evening's catering. By all accounts you did us proud. I've had some lovely emails about how good the food was, some having seconds. One of my friends emailed to say " hot supper was absolutely delicious and we all enjoyed not one but two desserts."

Such a shame I wasn't there to enjoy it all, but it obviously didn't stop the evening being a real success all round.

Excellent job thank you, and I look forward to seeing you again for my farewell bash on May 14th.

We aim to help when we can. Today's client asked to have vegan food included in her buffet. we made a selection of vegan rolls and 2 of these mixed platters

Just completed our first Burn's Night supper for Marden Cricket and Hockey Club. All a great success with lots of compliments especially from the band who said it was the best Burns meal that they had ever had and they have had loads!!

My afternoon tea boxes and cupcake bouquets are available for Valentine's Day and Mother's Day. Orders being taken now

September has been a very busy month - weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, retirement party, memorials, funeral wakes, afternoon tea parties and lots of cakes and cupcakes

Have just received this lovely thank you message from a client -

"We just wanted to reiterate our thanks for all you did in ensuring that our day last Saturday was such a success. Your help and guidance in the planning and preparation were vital, and very reassuring to us, and the ex*****on of all that was needed on the day very efficient and effective. The very favourable comments from guests were summed up by one couple: "The caterers did you proud. they were friendly and efficient, but unobtrusive at the same time. We thought the food was delicious - and such a choice". A number of the chaps also commented how much they had enjoyed the sirloin steak - such good quality, cooked to perfection.

Day 4 of 5 at the Big Cat Sanctuary in Smarden. This is our 9th year of doing the bbq for their annual open events.

I received an order from Guernsey for a surprise afternoon tea to be delivered locally to me to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary.

Even though some shops and pubs are starting to open from tomorrow I would like to thank everyone who has supported me during the past 12 months and to confirm that I intend to continue providing various tea boxes and cupcake flower bouquets. I am also now taking bookings for catering events, parties, weddings, etc for later in the summer. If anyone has something to celebrate contact me for a quote x

Restrictions are still in place for funerals but I am able to offer "wake" boxes. Food for 1 to give to your guests after the service. I am based in Staplehurst but can deliver on the day of the funeral.

The weather is getting better so I have now introduced a more savoury picnic box as well as the afternoon tea box
