Our friends Tim Wheater and Cherub Sanson came to visit us back in May to add some more drums to their collection. After their visit Tim had this to say about the drums we make at Caer Corhrain:
"Touch The Earth at Caer Corhrain create drums of superb quality. For many years I have played my Horse skin drum all over the world and have marvelled at its tonal quality and reliability of sound. Recently I have added a slightly larger Deer skin to my musical kit and am yet again in awe of its sound.
Lynne and her tribe at Caer Corhrain are dedicated, ethical and to be congratulated in their first-rate skills of drum making. Indeed, it would be fair to say they are made with the deepest love and intention.
For many years, I have encouraged and recommended my students and other players to take advantage of the opportunity to embrace and play the best sounding drums on the planet."

Oh my goodness! what an incredible day, four more beautiful Deer Drums joined our ever growing herd.
It just shows what you can do when you want to do something so passionately. It was an honour to watch Carleen Saull-Hunt birth her drum with a freshly broken wrist. We gave her very little help at all and I mean it when I say very little.
With sheer determination and much joy she completed her drum and be**er without a single moan or sign of frustration along with Diane and Cristina, who all birthed stunning drums.
I never tier of this craft and it's magic. The emotions and affection people show, the respect that is given to the animals for their hide, to the trees for the hoops and to the teachers of the craft is a truly a privilege to be apart of.
