Studies show that young children often understand and are interested in the world around them after the event has happened. They are experiencing things for the first time and so until they have seen it happen in their little world they have no idea how to deal with something or play along. That's why here at Aunty Em's we always carry the event and festival over to the following week or month. We will be wrapping and unwrapping boxes long into January next year after they realise how much fun it really is 🥰

Ellie's last Aunty Em drop off. She has helped me navigate so many little people through and around this school over the last 7 years. Never complaining (well maybe just a little bit) But she has been so helpful, patient and understanding with my job. As she moves on to her new adventures at secondary school I know that all the children will miss her on the school runs especially the big 3. These four have been together longer than I can remember 🥰
