It was my birthday yesterday and t’was a normal day in the office kinda thing. So, I thank every one for buying a jar or two and supporting your favourite stallholders and the new ones; picking up your monthly shopping with us, on by far the hottest day of the year at 29°C. Overall, it was a good day! my fellow traders; Sheila & Steve. Thank you for making my birthday special (laurel + dolmades) and I’m taking it as a significant good omen, reaching a significant age yesterday 😌 bearing a Greek nymph’s name ‘Daphne’ who begged her father to turn herself into a laurel tree hiding from someone’s selfish love ❤️‍🩹. Anyhoo countless thanks to the Cliftonville Farmers Market team, to June, our hardest working Market Manager for looking out for all of us. 🫶🏼

On 2nd photo they traveled all the from Faversham and patiently waited for my kimchi hot sauce / pickle juice 💥

Thank you Cliftonville Farmers Market and lovely to see new and familiar faces for the first market of the year. The mild kimchee hot pickle sauce went down really well, as well as the new Filipino relish, it went down for a treat with free tasting. Come visit us next month for some new or one off food items I’ll be bringing in the next market. ✨

Long hours of work but so worth it. Always a busy, buzzing market and we were so lucky with the weather. Thank you to all those who came to see us and supported us independent, artisan and micro food producers. Fermented red cabbage, beetroot and carrots infused with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties from ginger and garlic, packed for extra health promoting effects on top of its probiotic rich quality. This beaut will be having its debut this weekend at the Cliftonville Farmers Market . See you this Sunday!

Hey there, I’m so excited to share our new colour label for my vegan 🌱variety for the retail shelves. It’s made from eco-friendly plastic material and are compostable. They comply with the EN 13432 standard for composting and have the OK Compost Industrial certificate from TUV.

To be more eco-friendly, follow the 3 R philosophy: REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE. But did you know, we’ve always have a returnable jar scheme? My regular customers brings their jars back and return it at every month. And get a discount, it’s like you’ve had paid for your deposit on the jar and gets it back on your next purchase. It’s a win-win!

If you decide to keep the jar, your compostable labels need to be stuck onto paper, cardboard, or compostable plastic packaging. Compostable waste is collected for industrial composting in your green compost bins.

Watch out: oxo-degradable plastics are not compostable, they are broken down into micro-plastics.

Rainy 🍁 autumn day at our every last Sunday of the month.

We arrived yesterday from Quebec 🇨🇦 so I only have my VEGAN on display for this month’s market. My sincere apologies to my lovers. On another positive note, my products can be soon bought in a nearby local 24hr supermarket in . Hooray!

I know I have been away for the last two markets but I am back. I hope to see you at the 21st anniversary of tomorrow 10am-1pm. 🫶🏼

Bread and butter kimchi! Allotment grown fermented whole cucumbers made into kimchi. Analogous to the American which doesn’t really involved any bread and butter but is certainly lovely relish to add to your cheese and crackers, sandwiches, burgers or hotdog buns and alongside your summer BBQ fare!
