Happy Friday!

I have had an absolute blast with this little one this week and family. Last couple of hours before we head to the airport... so with my last few hours I'm starting to think about work with the waiting around we will have! Hahah

The feeling you have when mum tells me it's holiday time 🤣🤣

I am now offical on holiday and doing my final preparations for Turkey tomorrow!

All messages will be answered when I return Monday 19th. The rota for this week will be done the Saturday before so bare with me!

Helen will be managing the team tomorrow and will message the WhatsApp groups if required.

Then Lindsay and Helen will be working next week and either of them will message if required!

Another hot one again today!!!

We are up already and will be heading into work shortly to get as many in as possible.

All walks will be done by 10.30am today! After this time it will be pop ins and garden play 🙂🙂

Once again thank you for working with us during this weeks heatwave.

Hopefully rest of the week will go according to plan but again we are taking it day by day 🙂

What's on offer:

Thursday 5th September 2024 at 6.15pm. IMPROVERS COURSE. £85. 6 week course. Abbey Wood Venue.

This is for any ages. Ideal for those who are looking at advancing the basics.

Course Includes:
- Advanced Focus Cues
- Impulse control and learning
- Loose lead
- Recall
- FUN!

Thursday 5th September 2024 at 7.15pm. REACTIVE COURSE. £100. 6 week Course. Abbey Wood Venue.

This is for any age. This class will be for 5 dogs only! So space is very limited.

Course Inculdes:
- Control and Management of dogs reactivity
- Changing dogs associations from negative to positive
- Learn to ignore other dogs
- Redirect focus from triggers to handler

Monday 9th September 2024 at 7.15pm. BEGINNERS COURSE. £60. 4 Week Course. Gravesend Venue.

Course Includes:
- Foundation Focus cues
- Introduction to Loose lead walking
- Introduction to recall
- Fun and Games

This if for any age.

All courses must be booked prior to the start date to ensure you are getting the relevant information before hand.

CANCELLED!!!

Training Class for Tonight at Abbey Wood has been cancelled due to the heat being around the 27 degree mark.

I have messaged everyone to sort out alternatives so that no one misses out on this week. This will either be a training walk outside together (date and time to be set) or adding on a week at the Hall if available.

Sorry for any inconveniences caused but I can not risk anyone transporting their dogs in that heat. Welfare of them is our upmost priority.

Please reply to the message when you can for alternatives to be arranged.

What a lovely start to the week 😊😊

Just a snap shot into our Monday 🥰😍

Today's been a little emotional for us all but we made sure we had fun at the same time.

Today was Stan's last walk with us after being with us for 8 years. He's age has caught up with him 😳

Thankfully he was on top form today wanting lots of cuddles and treats from us and giving us his big Stan smiles, which we tried to catch on camera. He had most of his favourite friends with him on his last walk, some he has been walking with since he started. Even Ares made sure he got extra bum sniffs today 🤣🤣

This was such an amazing walk but an emotional one too.

Stan we have absolutely loved walking and caring for you for the last 8 years. We will see you again for cuddles, so for now we will say we'll see you soon!

Afternoon to my amazing extended family!

Good news I've been given the go ahead to drive and light work. So for me this means one walk a day!

It's a good start after just over 2 weeks of resting, healing herbal oils and pain relief patches. Seems to have helped.

So first thing I've done is get into work for that one walk.

I am still very limited and just going to help team out a little. This still means that training walks are still on stand by and that we are still limited with adhoc clients, has I've got staff holidays over the next few weeks too.

I am hoping everything will be resumed to normal by end of July.

Thank you all for being so flexible and understanding. I am so glad this recovery process isn't going to be as long as I dreaded when I first done it.

Sorry for the lack of posts so far this week. It's been a bit crazy with the heat. ☀️
