Hi all, it's been a while! I hope you're all well?

When I initially closed my craft business, I was going to start posting my story here to hopefully insipre others, but unfortunately life got a little hectic-

For those of you who don't know me, in a nutshell, my husband was extremely unwell, resulting in numerous hospital visits, 3 surgeries (with another due in the summer), and ongoing daily nurse visits, initiallydriven by me, bit thankfully he is now mobile to go himself. He's health is much better, but there's just a final hurdle to get over to get back to normal as much as we can.

Anyway, I digress, I was going to share my journey with Avon since stopping my craft business, and show you the possibilities it opens up.

Strangely, while my husband, and all of us as a family, were going through a really tough time, I actually had the best year, business wise. I do think I would have struggled a lot more if it wasn't for Avon, and the love and support I got from both my team, and my customers.

Aside from some lifetime friendships, Avon has given me a decent income, the flexibility to care for my family when I needed to most, and 3 all expenses paid trips, last year alone! Oh, and hundreds of pounds worth of freebies.

It's the end of an era for me, but I've had a hell of a ride.

‼️ Important Announcement ‼️

It's with great sadness that I will be stopping my Crafty Claire business in the coming weeks

Unfortunately the time and effort I put into my items, making bespoke orders, often designing from scratch at no added extra charge, having lengthy conversations (over weeks sometimes) for customers not to proceed, is not cost or time effective.

Alongside this, sales have dropped, and with times being hard, I don't see them picking up any time soon.

It's certainly not something I wanted to do as I enjoy it so much, but I had to make a decision, and this is it.

I will be taking an inventory of my stock and will be looking to sell my Sawgrass 500 (with almost full ink), heat press/mug press and attachments, my various blanks, packaging and other general craft items and a Cricut machine. I'm estimating that the sublimation set up would be approximately £800 so do get in touch if you're interested.

For my loyal customers, I will also happily take last minute orders (by the end of this weekend please) as I wouldn't want to leave you high and dry if you were going to order with me soon...just nothing overly complicated 😅

Please be aware that due to ongoing strike action, some of your orders may be delayed in reaching you.

My two most recent post office runs were on the 26th and the 2nd so I'm hoping that all orders will be with you by the end of this week 🤞

I am so sorry for the delays that these strikes are causing.

Although I am not processing any further orders with Christmas delivery, I thought it would be useful to share further strike days with you.

Please note that I will be closing my Christmas order books on 5th December for items to be delivered, and 10th December for items to be collected. This is due to Royal Mail bringing their last delivery dates forward, as well as having a lot of personal things going on at home.

I'm still waiting on a few of you to confirm details for your Santa letters so please can you get this information over to me as soon as possible.

Obviously I can still take non Christmas orders as normal ☺️

Last week's focus was personalised letters from Santa. Hopefully the postal strikes didn't delay them too much 🙈

After going to our local event 'Carvival of the Baubles' today, it seems fitting to share MY baubles!

All of them are £4.50 and the ones with photos/images can have anything you like on them ☺️

Just a few more days to order your Christmas countdown plaque in time for the 1st December!

They are 6x8inch aluminium plaques with two holes for hanging should you choose to do so. They can be used with a white board marker (not included) and will last year after year for just £7.50.

My daughter is forever complaining about her glasses being dirty (they're not!) and how they need cleaning (they don't), HOWEVER, in a bid for her to clean her own glasses, I whipped up her own, personal cleaning cloth with rainbows and unicorns (of course). What do you think?

It's been brought to my attention that PayPal have restricted payments on my website. I'm beyond frustrated as they assured me they had resolved the issue, but it appears not!

During a busy period like Christmas, this is not ideal and it is damaging my business and income as I've had customers go elsewhere when the payment hasn't worked 😭

If you have any orders to place, please contact me directly. I still have my personal PayPal which you can still get buyer protection on, and I can also accept bank transfer.
