Hi Guys, I’ve finally turned my ovens off and I’m ready for the The Market Herne Bay tomorrow (Sunday 10/2pm) and here is my new cake (available tomorrow) it’s a Cherry Layer, made with Cherry Buttercream and Cherry Compote! Honestly, you have to try this one, it’s delicious!! As usual the table will be filled with sliced cakes, Squares, Brownies and Tea Loaves so come for a slice of something nice!! Morning Guys, I’m start getting ready for the Market today and will work until this evening, getting up at 5.30 tomorrow morning and starting again. It’s hard work but Tracy and I have a lot of fun on the stall (I love her to bits), I get a lot of positive feedback and when people say “your cake is my monthly treat” and “our family looks forward to coming to your stall every month” it makes it all worth it. We have old people that were customers at the beginning, that now we worry about if they don’t make it and customers that have become friends. Some come for a particular cake every month, while others literally have 10 slices of different types. Some don’t have anything but come over for a chat (who knows, they may be lonely, we may be the only people that they get to talk to that day, so we are always friendly) I really love what I do, so I’m very grateful for being able to do it!!
