Being watched on my walk this morning. Feeling like autumn now, lovely time of the year.

We have late availability for 9th September for a week, it's a beautiful space in a lovely Northamptonshire village , great walks straight from the door, five miles from the beautful Georgian town of Oundle. Dog friendly.

A recent review

Fantastic place. Absolutely beautiful cottage and full of incredibly kind touches such as a welcome hamper and freshly baked cake which was utterly delicious! The kitchen was perfectly stocked, it was really spacious, the bed was very comfy. A really beautiful garden too. One of the best Air B’n’bs I’ve ever stayed in. Really hope to come back. Thank you so much!

Beautiful morning today , out early again with Tally

How does your garden grow? Well ours has grown amazingly, we planted it in May with the help of in oundle and you can see in the photos it really has grown and created a really relaxing garden. It's an amazing place to sit and relax and it's full of butterflies.

Put my jeans on today, now looking forward to the very best part of autumn and winter , a log burner, ready for our winter guests lovely snuggly evenings.

Your comfort is so important to us, all of our guests have said how comfortable the beds are. A good nights sleep is part of a fantastic break away.

Thought I would share our first guests review!

Wow what a lovely week spent in a gorgeous cottage in a beautiful location. If you love your car, motorhome etc. you have a great amount of clear space just for you directly outside the property. The cottage is a delight and the garden is immaculate and very enclosed which for us was perfect for our aged but still curious cat. Inside has been styled not only to look great but have all the right functions. We both loved the remote blinds which was a godsend in the hot week we stayed. One night got a bit chilly and the underfloor heating was a great treat coming through the glorious stone flooring, our cat left the sofa and had one of her best treats ever. The kitchen has everything you need and more and the bathroom and bath/shower is decorated to perfection. Both the bedrooms are beautifully turned out and the main bedroom bed was so comfortable. We have been fortunate in nearly 40 years together to short stay in some of the most beautiful of homes and locations and this stay will join those at the top of our list. We promise you you will not be disappointed.

Our limestone floors keep it lovely and cool in the summer and the underfloor heating a woodburner keep it so cosy in the winter!
