What a crazy 4/5 days it’s been. I am still very much struggling to come to terms with what has happened. I am very much sticking with The Body Shop right now, I’m just not ready to say goodbye. I will be signing up to the ambassador program and will still be able to offer all my customers products and an incredible discount too, the newness looks exciting and I can’t wait to find out more.
As a leader on the business thou the changes effect is very differently and we will loose our teams as of the 23rd February, and that we loose the income that goes with it…..
I have thought long and hard over the last few days and have spent a lot of time speaking with girls in our team and those around me and we are not done yet either. We have been on this journey for 5 years and so many of them don’t want to loose the body shop family connection we have.
Over the years we have laughed, cried, supported, shared so many moments and memories.
But not only my downline the incredible side lines and of course my beautiful Shelly Louise Gavin who I speak to several times a day who literally rebuilt me during my first year with the company and never fails to not be there when I need someone the most. She has played a huge part in me becoming the kick arse woman I am today taught me to take zero 💩off anyone and made realise my worth and actually most of the issues I had was the knobheads around me and not actually me. I wasn’t prepared for that relationship to change in anyway again we have both laughed and cried together over the last 5 years and been on a journey through some tough times and come out the other side still smashing life. Plus she would be listening to without my PA services and the fact I pretty much organise her whole life 🤣🤣🤣🤣
So we have joined another company with equal ethics to the body shop we spent a lot of time researching and we are happy to have joined Oriflame and see as a team where our new journey takes us

There’s an abundance of plastic that already exists in the world, and our Community Fair Trade Recycled Plastic programme with plastics for change allows us to reduce the amount of waste entering our environment, whilst also providing fair wages and safe working conditions for local waste pickers.
♻️Since 2019 we have taken over 100 million plastic bottles off the streets of India! This plastic is then repurposed for our shampoo and conditioner bottles, and our new body butter tubs.

Hi I’m Tina, Tee to friends and family I’ve been in the hair and beauty industry since I was 13 when I got my first Saturday job in a hairdressers.
Recently became a single mum. Now 43, I am unable to do what I have always loved and enjoyed due to chronic illness and also being a career for my son with disabilities. I wanted something just for me.
