Re-Pointing 👌🏻

This mid terrace chimney needed some TLC…

Scaffold erected and our bricklayer got to work revitalising this large chimney stack.

Re-pointing work should be carried out when you can see gaps in your brickwork.

Not only will it solidify the structure but it can help prevent damp and improve insulation.

🧱 Block and Beam 🧱

Block and beam flooring designed and supplied by for this large two storey rear extension in Geddington…

We can’t wait to see this one take shape… Let the building COMMENCE‼️

Block and beam flooring is a great solution to reduce noise in a new extension. It is fire resistant, draft proof and rot proof.

- Excavation to leave 200mm void from soil to underside of concrete beams

- Drainage laid in place with supporting concrete lintels

- 3.6 or 7 Newton blocks laid on over-site

- Telescopic vents and perpends in supporting piers to allow sufficient airflow

- Brickwork and blockwork to all elevations

- Created new openings for bifold doors and window

- Fitted all associated supporting steels and lintels

- Constructed fibreglass flat roof system

- Insualate and screed internal floor

- Insulate, board and skim all new and existing wall areas

1. Alter existing openings and create new ones
2. Remove existing cladding and replace with larch timber cladding
3. Replace all existing window with windows
4. Render remaining brickwork and paint
5. Treat all timber and trims to protect against the elements
