Supplying Fruit and Veg has been in the family since 1964 when my Grandparents first started their grocery business in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire. They eventually moved their greengrocers business to Newark in Nottinghamshire. Years later, i continued the fruit and veg family tradition as The Northampton Grocer. As they say, it must be in the blood.

The Northampton Grocer has been my side kick for over 13 years… hope to be serving the shire with fresh quality produce for many years to come!

Our annual charity football match takes place a little bit later than usual this year.
We play on 1/3 of the all weather pitch .
This is a friendly game of football and everyone is welcome to come along and join in the match including your children.

£10 per person and money raised will be split between and .
We will have some cupcakes and a donation bucket on the day.

If you have seen the previous matches you know our limited abilities and 2 left feet 🤣

You don't have to play the whole match and will pick the teams on the day. 2 halves followed by an attempt at penalties.

Please feel free to share this with friends, family & work colleagues who would like to come along, have fun, eat cake whilst raising money for two charities at the same time.

We are looking for someone to join us every Saturday at Holcot Farmers Market.
This will include loading and unloading the van.
Setting the stall up and packing down at the end of the day.
Serving customers as well as picking any online orders ready for delivery.
This will involve early morning start (5am) and to be capable of lifting up to 25kg. The majority of boxes are 5 - 15kg.

Wage to be agreed depending on age and previous experience. Full training can be given. This is a fast paced environment and need to be able to think on your feet.

This week’s plenty for £20 box will include the following items whilst stocks last.

2 jumbo baking potatoes, 1 fresh radish, 1 English asparagus, 1 English vine of tomatoes, 1 yellow courgette, 3 green peppers, 400g broad beans, 10 fun-sized golden delicious apples, 6 easy peelers, 3 large navel oranges and 4 limes.

All this for £20 including lots of seasonal English produce.
