Do you remember I said I did a thing and faced my fear of the stage?

Well here it is, the first time I ever stepped foot on a stage with real-life people to talk about my mission and my passion.

I’ve said a few things that may result in a few raised hackles but to those who know me, you’ll understand the sincerity behind my words.

Consent and Choice are significant to safety and safety IS a feeling.

In this talk, I go through the reasons why in a way I hope will resonate with you, and encourage you all to ask more difficult questions on the way we choose to co-exist with other animal species.

🐶 I will be booking appointments as of this week currently for my existing clients. I have no space to take on new case studies at this time. Available appointments will be reserved for those of you whose dog requires my specialist skills as a *behaviourist and groomer combined* 🐶

🛀 Since I am now re-focusing my practice to rehabilitation work for dogs in the grooming environment, please only request an appointment if you feel your dog struggles with the grooming process and requires my specific skill-set 🛀

💜 A brief reminder that my pricing has now changed to an hourly rate of £32, this is also my bottom rate for all other services (including my half-hour slots). All appointments will include a bespoke care plan that is consistently monitored and updated, a diary log, ongoing support via text, hands-on behaviour and positive training work and of course, grooming. Additionally, all guardians will be required to dedicate time to practice certain techniques and provide a consistent care plan at home - this is crucial for your dog's progress 💜

🐶 I have relocated to a bespoke grooming pod in my garden and have left behind the ‘Scrub A Dug Dug’ brand to make room for my personal brand, The Holistic Dog Groomer. Please respect my families privacy and only arrive at the house for your designated drop-off and collections times. I have four dogs who will be placed inside before your arrival to avoid any potential confrontations. Entry will be to the side of my property via the red wooden gates. The address will be DM’d to you 🐶

ℹ️ For those of you who don’t consider your dog to require my specialist services please note that the salon on London Road has been bought by a new groomer and therefore will be reopening shortly as a dog groomers once more under new management/ownership. Although I must stress I will be in no way affiliated with this business, the option to remain in the same venue is certainly there for those who find the location convenient. I of course remind you to always do your own due diligence when choosing a groomer ℹ️

📖 To those of you who will be staying with me, please send me a DM to arrange your appointment. Additionally, everyone will have to fill out a new customer form and disclaimer prior to their appointment. I do expect spaces to run out quickly since the unplanned delay in my re-launch has caused an inevitable backlog! Hi all,

As you will see the Spa on London Road has been unoccupied now over the last few weeks as we've been allowing potential buyers to view it.

The Grooming Pod that I'm having built at my home and my garden were meant to be ready mid-June on time for my official re-launch at the beginning of this month which hasn't gone at all to plan.

I am approximately three weeks behind schedule which is stressful, to say the least.

I can only apologise for the inconvenience this may cause any of my clients who are scheduled to have their dog groomed over the next few weeks that will now have to be postponed.

My advice at this moment in time is to please source an alternative groomer for the groom you are waiting on to avoid any potential problems arising due to overgrown hair, especially with our warmer weather too

I have made the decision to close the Spa for the month of June to allow me the time to transfer the business over to the new location and will be back open as of July 🗺

If you already have an appointment in June, don’t worry I will honour this appointment however I will not be booking any more dogs in 🐾

Please let me know if you feel you would require an appointment to manage your doggies coat during this month and I can refer you to recommended groomers nearby 💜

I have one or two appointments free at the end of the month for dogs with longer coats needing attention. Please get in touch for more details.

There will be a lot of changes happening over the next few weeks to implement my recent qualifications and achievements, though I will still be coming back to continue grooming ✂️.
