Our FD Kath and FSO Ilene both took part in the Remembrance Parade in Kingsbridge yesterday. Kath is vice chairman of The Mill Club, a Royal British Legion Club and Ilene is a committee member. Both give their time freely to help the club and the Royal British Legion in anyway they can, what an amazing club and cause, well done to all involved in organising this very important occasion ❤️🎩

Pre Paid Funeral Plans

From the 29th July 2022 the selling of Pre Paid Funeral Plans became regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Any one selling Pre Paid Funeral Plans has to show to the FCA that they are following all of the FCAs rules and guidance and prove that any staff that are involved with meeting clients with a view to purchasing a Pre Paid Funeral Plan are fully trained and qualified.

Our Colleague Katharine Banfield is now a fully trained and qualified Funeral Plan Consultant. Her role is to ensure in a Non Advisory Way that all potential clients have the necessary information to make an informed choice as to whether or not a Pre Paid Plan is for them.

Dignity's Funeral Plans are recommended by Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis for both burials and cremations as of the 23rd August 2023.

Online Funeral Notices

With the increase in demand for the use of social media in all aspects of business and personal use and the fact that it now easier than ever to access our company decided to created it own Online Funeral Notice which is available for all of our clients to access if they wish.
Once the funeral service has been arranged a funeral notice can be set up. It can include the date and time of the funeral and location, information about flowers and donations, a written tribute and locations maps for anyone that needs directions to the funeral venue.

The Funeral Notice can be personalised by the family to make it an unique tribute.

We have a written guide for all of our clients to help access the Funeral Notice, to personalise the notice and to share it with others.

Our colleague Katharine Banfield has just been informed that she has been accepted to run in the London Marathon 2024. We will follow her progress here and find out more as to whom she will be raising money for in future posts.
