Concept Sliding Solutions

A new project starting today for Concept Sliding Solutions in Hull, a 40x15m extension designed to be used as a storage unit including building regulations provided by Assent Building Control - Approved Building Inspectors, foundations and drainage. This is new unit is required in order to expand operations and meet increasing demand, also providing an increase to local employment!

International Women's Day!

"The game of football is quite unsuitable for females and ought not to be encouraged."

The FA Council stipulated upon disallowing women to play football in any stadium or specific football ground. The ban lasted for 50yrs before the FA were forced to lift the ban in 1971.

Fast forward a further 50yrs and in 2022 The Lionesses' success changed the way women’s football is viewed in this country. Their Euro 2022 final with Germany was watched by an average of 17 million people, a record for any women’s football match in the UK.

Women’s football is now seeing record-breaking transfers, attendances, and global television viewing figures are at an all-time high.

Nevertheless, there is still a huge disparity between boys’ and girls’ football at grassroots level, meaning it has never been so important to celebrate and support local female football clubs.

Concept Sliding Solutions are proud to be supporting the progression of the women’s game by sponsoring the Malet Lambert YC - Female Football Club

The club is currently home to 10 teams and 134 players!

Concept Sliding Solutions are big supporters of our local Rugby League club Skirlaugh RL Official.

The Under 9's team have earned a place in a tournament and require further funding to cover the costs of the trip.

We believe all the players should have the opportunity to play without increasing costs to their parents who may already be struggling to make ends meet due to the cost of living crisis.
