Hi. I thought I'd do a post sharing with you a little about me and how my little business started....

I'm Anne, I'm 55, soon to be 56 and I wonder where all those years went, in my head I'm still a kid at heart, it's only when I look in the mirror that it slaps me in the face 🤣 I'm married to Mark and have one grown up daughter called Alesha, who I am so very proud of. We have a cat called Tiggi and she's 16 years old. I also work part-time at B&Q.

I started on this journey by buying my daughter a card kit off QVC, thinking about it that was over 20 years ago!! Alesha didn't get hooked but I did, so I bought more kits that I used to stored in the corner of my living room at that time, this year I got my very own dedicated craft room, obviously it's the best room in the house for me 😍 Then I came across dedicated craft channels and saw the CraftRobo, I loved what it could do, after seeing it and wanting one for such a long time, I finally had the money saved, so I bought it, when it arrived I was excited but also, like many other crafters, quite scared of it 🤣 I joined a great forum on the internet and saw what others were doing. To cut a long story short, it was with that machine that I started up my first business Treasured Templates, designing cutting files for others to purchase, which has been going properly now for around 14 years and as technology has grown so have the machines I've purchased along the way.

About 3 years ago I was seeing so many people going on about Sublimation and how amazing it was. I was using vinyl to make physical things for people but sublimation could go above and beyond what you could do with vinyl. T shirts can be washed without worrying about the heat pressed vinyl peeling, cups could be washed countless times, there are so many items that can be sublimated (heat pressed into things) and it gives such a better finish, so about a year later, after doing my research, I bought a sublimation printer and some items that can be sublimated onto, these are special items that have a coating that is embedded into the item or cast acrylic, which you will have seen on my page. Glass and aluminium sublimation items are also so amazing to sublimate. I started up this new page AMG Creations dedicated to the items I make, for myself and for customers like yourself. Learning how to do it doesn't come easy, believe me, there have been so many mistakes along the way and lots of items that do not pass my quality control and they've been binned. If it's not perfect or as close to perfect as I can get it with it being a hand-made product then it does not get posted out.

That turned into a longer post than I thought it would, so that's enough about me for now. Is there anything you would like to know that I haven't touched on? I'd love to get to know you all a little better so if you feel comfortable sharing then please do.
