We chatted with Ellie from British record-holding team, . Ellie and her crew completed a 3,000-mile unassisted row across the Atlantic Ocean from the Canary Islands to the Caribbean as part of the .toughest.row and had some great advice to share!

"To keep things simple, we never used the jet boil, just had our meals cold."

"My snack packs consisted of potato crisps, salt and vinegar chickpeas (they are dried out and toasted), flapjacks, chocolate bars, a couple of biscuit bars, a few sweets.

Britons should have three days' worth of tinned food and water, government says A new website advising on what to do in an emergency is being launched as part of the government's push to ensure the UK is more resilient to threats.

The new UK government Prepare Campaign website is up. Designed to "help you prepare for emergencies, be more informed about hazards, and get involved in activities to support yourself and your community before, during and after an emergency."

Done!!! I currently have no words to describe this experience.. the pain, the heat (57degrees!) , the stars….how incredible all the messages of support were or how dirty you get after a week in the desert. Physically the hardest thing I have ever done.

2 nights off the grid in the Scottish Highlands ⛺️

From London to Inverness, followed by a car ride to Fort William.
From Fort William it was a 2 hour hike with a 15kg backpack to the campsite. Hiking in the area and Stob Ban the next day.
Despite above 0 temperatures it was freezing cold throughout the night and I truly got to know the famous Scottish weather. After 2 days everything I had with me was somehow soaked. Never have I been more thankful for a hot shower. 🛁

Back to London on the Caledonian Sleeper train.

Great weekend of training and being out of comfort zone. Makes you appreciate all the little things even more ✨
