Ukraine Aid
Missions to Ukraine providing medical aid and equipment to hospitals and frontline towns
On Ukraine's 700-mile frontline the Kursk offensive is yet to have any significant impact on the continued bombardment from Russian artillery shells and rockets that fall relentlessly on trenches, villages, towns and cities. Daily sacrifices are being made by defenders in the pursuit of freedom. Freedom for them is not a theoretical notion, it means protecting their homes, their villages, their town, their way of life. And so supplies are still needed. This week £3,000 worth of medical instruments were successfully delivered to be used at a stabilisation point thanks to donors like Adam Miller, Christina Ignatiou Ma Baker, Declan Monaghan and UK Foundations. Igor pictured here, and other extremely brave surgeons carry out difficult, complex operations on wounded soldiers daily at field hospitals that are regularly targeted by drones and artillery near the frontline. You are looking at one incredible man, a true hero of Ukraine.
Kate Wilson is a highly qualified registered NHS paramedic who has frontline medical experience. On the 16th August 9.30 -11.30 she will be providing a drop in first aid session in central London. This is your chance to get CPR or catastrophic haemorrhage skills training. It’s a perfect introduction if you are heading out to a hot spot, or you just want to be prepared for the unexpected at home. The best news is that it’s free. Find out more and PM me. We are extremely limited on space so first come first serve. Your attendance could save a life.
Many thanks to all my donors for making this possible. Much needed endoscopy and diathermy equipment for Dnipro City Hospital No4 has just been delivered. Diathermy helps increase blood flow and make connective tissue more flexible and Endoscopy enables surgeons to observe and treat internal organs. Both pieces of equipment keep wounded soldiers alive. YES, they have such machines in Ukraine, but the casualty levels are such that they are in high demand, break down, and are difficult to replace quickly. The surgeons in Dnipro like Rostyslav Bublii, pictured here, work tirelessly. I only wish more Ukrainian surgeons, doctors, nurses and other health workers would return to Ukraine. They are needed so badly.

A very simple band that goes onto the arm enabling medics to identify a vein for the IV. I got these little gems to the frontline within 5 days of requests. Little things save lives.
While many women have left Ukraine the brave stay behind to fight to serve to keep their homeland free. This is Valeria a medic working on the frontline. She is just 23.
One very happy medic gets his kit. Purchased by me, with funds from you, delivered with love.
U Saved is a French NGO I have supported by donating a vehicle and supplies. They evacuate civilians from frontline towns. Good to see they are also getting support from Save the Children

Many thanks to Alex Rennie David Lowe Steve Hodgson Vitaly Shevchenko for getting all this to Ukraine and Liubov (in the picture) who is currently at the frontline and has delivered these supplies to where they had to go. She is a bit of a fearless super woman. She will never leave her country. She will never surrender.
Recent Lanterns that were taken out to Ukraine. Thanks to Alex Rennie who transported them to Kyiv and Liubov who got them to frontline positions. They are a vital additon to supplies when power is in short supply.
Lanterns delivered and already in use!
While many women have fled Ukraine some remain to fight. Thank God for their bravery. Ukraine needs every man and woman to stand and fight for victory! Just delivered a box of life saving celox dressings. Thank you to all those that continue to donate. Every bandage can save a life.
More supplies have arrived in Ukraine..Hundreds of supplies sent to Kyiv, Dnipro and Kramatorsk to be sent on to frontline stabilisation points Donesk. Power stations, hand warmers, thermal clothing, celox dressings, tourniquets.Thank you so much everyone for making this happen.
A town I know well!
Supplies now in Kyiv. Within 3 days they will be at the front. Tourniquets, celox gauze, hand warmers, power stations, stretchers. Saving Ukrainian lives is what we do.
Stretchers arrive at the front. Many thanks to Calleva for buying these.
As missiles fall on Kyiv, Dnipro, Kharkiv, the aid just keeps rolling in! Alex and the boys on their way to deliver aid to hospitals and the frontline. Thanks Adam Miller Declan Monaghan Christina Ignatiou Ma Baker Steve Ovenden Stuart Paver Supplies I purchased thanks to you guys are on board.
As the war drags on, more funds are needed for essential high grade trauma bandages and CAT-7 gen tourniquets that prevent bleed-out and save lives. All my supplies are delivered directly to medics working on the frontline. This is Yulia. She left behind three children and volunteered to run a supply depot just 10 kilometres from the fighting. From here they distribute medical supplies, food and equipment. This is where I take supplies. Yulia risks her life every day. The sound of shelling and vibration wakes her up most nights. I asked her why she is here with three children at home. She said to me. "These boys are defending my country. They are all heroes to me. They are my boys. I must be here".
As I write thousands of defenders are huddled in trenches in freezing conditions across a 900-kilometre frontline. They are being hit by Russian artillery constantly. This is where the need is. Please consider donating. One tourniquet costs £21. That is enough to save a life. You donate, I purchase, and through my networks we deliver fast. Justgiving link below.

Another vehicle on its way to Ukraine. Not one of mine, but Vitaly who owns the car is kindly taking some of my supplies with him. His son crowdfunded for the vehicle, and Vitaly is travelling over Christmas with lots of toys and chocolates for a children's orphanage. Brilliant effort!
Stretchers on board and heading out to Ukraine today! These are desperately needed by a battalion fighting in the South East. Many thanks Steve Hodgson for all your support. Steve is the owner of that huge truck that transports everything! Steve is also taking down some building supplies for the British Expeditionary Aid Rescue group based near Kherson. The group is rebuilding houses hit by shelling, one by one. Great work by Martyn Spurrell in buying these supplies and getting them to Steve, who lives the other side of the country. Teamwork just makes sense.
Just a few days after ordering winter tyres and stretchers they have arrived near the frontline. Thanks to Liubov Sholudko for organising. I've even got a smile from one of the boys (look closely). Amazing! Thanks also to Pavers Foundation for releasing the funds and Steve Ovenden for making that happen. It's all about teamwork! It means more wounded boys will be saved.
Team work and coordination is everything. Here is a picture of power lines being repaired after a rocket attack. "British" took the supplies down to the guys in the Nissan Pathfinder. The truck was paid for and sprayed in camouflage green by Paul Norris for free at considerable time and cost. So a huge thank you to him and his family for giving up their time and making such a huge contribution. Now winter is here I need to buy off-road winter tyres for this vehicle. Any donations please pm me.ukraine
Stretchers just been delivered. Definitely the way to go. I get requests in and buy the goods in Ukraine. Within a few days they have been delivered. No more border issues, driving or fuel costs whilst helping the Ukrainian economy! My mission now is to make them smile 😁 I'm working on it!
One very happy Liubov Sholudko. These are specialist constricting IV bands. These bands enable medics to find an IV access point fast when time is critical. Originally designed for the US armed forces these bands save lives. So happy to be able to help. Supporting the boys in Ukraine never stops. Ukraine Aid
I need to make a short video maybe 1 - 2 minutes long just outlining what's been achieved to date. If there is anyone out there who has those videography skills and can help put one together please let me know. Thank you! More supplies delivered below!
A brief update. The next planned mission will be late November/December. Our focus remains on supporting those close to the fighting. We only provide direct aid to frontline medics and field hospitals and those supporting civilians near to the fighting. We personally deliver supplies or use trusted partners. To date over £121,000 has been raised and £110,000 spent. Thousands of trauma bandages, tourniquets, burns dressings have been delivered. 11 vehicles, 11 generators, over 22 thousand pieces of medical kit from syringes to airway management supplies. Laptops for schools, clothes, sleeping bags and so much more. The work goes on. Russia is mounting numerous counter offenses along the entire frontline. Even though it has slipped out of the headlines this war is far from over. Thank you everyone.
Fire fighting kit generously donated by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue thanks to Tony Souter, now safely in the hands of those that will be using it in Kharkiv. The guy second from right in the picture is Sergey Fedchenko, a Super Lightweight champion boxer who was my original contact way back!
The attack on Hroza, a small town in the East of Ukraine was another senseless act in a war with no end in sight. What it does do is make everyone more determined to carry on.
