This guests is on a colour journey….

After repeated wearing a colour similar to a 1A ( Very dark ash brown) which was a home colour then having that lifted out elsewhere the request from this guest was to enhance the lighter shades though the length and neutralise some more of the warmer tones through the top sections. Also it was requested whatever we did on this sitting could be left alone so the hair could take a break from colour work for a few months.

Taking all this into consideration Hajr Designer Beckie gently lightened and brighten the existing blonde and toned down the top. Enhanced the subtle but not invisible money piece to add some drama but mainly through the whole process take the inherit of the hair into consideration.

When lifting out dark home box dye colours there will always be warm red/copper/orange tones exposed. As hair dressers we have to deal with these shades through the colouring process and do what we can to mute/neutralise them.

Once this hair has taken a rest from lightening the next steps will be to tackle to mid-lengths again.

Bright bold and beautiful to add some extreme colour to the grey days.

Consultant Jo incorporated deep inky purple to the roots on this usually just fuschia pink colour.

Not everyone is brave enough to rock these colours but those that are certainly let our stylists unleash their inner punk.

I think it’s fair to say this guest is what we would class as an Adventurist

The guest had naturally flat white/grey hair without much shine.

She requested to warm up her hair as she felt it wasn’t complementing her skin tone. She didn’t want it to be darker, so together, consultant/colour master Jo and the guest decided on a beige tone.

A full head foiling technique was used, followed by an all over toner, to achieve a soft blush beige tone.

A combination of neutral, golds and mochas, were used to create a multi-tonal effect.

The shine was impressive and the color successfully achieved a warmer skin tone without compromising the lightness. It’s also low maintenance which suits this guest.

Overall, it resulted in a lovely shade taking years off the guest and completely transforming the hair from flat to healthier looking hair that reflected the light creating beautiful shiny hair.

Preparing for the winter season.

During her recent visit, this guest chose a vibrant and captivating colour. After sharing a few colour ideas from our Instagram selection with Consultant Jo, a variety of shades were selected to create a unique and personalised colour for this guest. A technique called deep root stretching was applied to create a contrast with the warm, pinky gold copper shade throughout the length of the hair, and cover any natural stands of wisdom( greys)

Immediately, the hair appeared healthier, shinier, and enhanced the guest's complexion.

It's time to transition from summer hair to a more suitable autumn/winter look. Blondes who appeared great in the bright summer sun may not look as flattering now.

This particular guest always consults with Jo, one of our Consultants and Colour Masters, for all her hair colors and cuts. Therefore, we had a clear understanding of her existing hair before making any slight color adjustments.

The goal was to eliminate the yellowish sun-kissed blonde while maintaining a light color. Additionally, the guest expressed an interest in eventually growing out her color.

To achieve this, ash tones were utilized on the roots to fill in the gaps between the foils and prevent any unwanted warm tones from emerging. Furthermore, neutral ash tones with a hint of gold were applied at the ends to eliminate the old blonde hues and enhance color reflection.

Finally, a toner was applied to create a smoother blend, using a GOLD VIOLET💛💜 shade.

The result is clearly a more natural, neutral shade whilst still remaining light with the added dimension of lighter strands for definition and texture.

During the winter season, we enhanced this guest's elegant blonde bob with a subtle gold hue that complements the cooler months.

Bright blonde hair can appear overly vibrant during the darker autumn and winter days, prompting many of our blonde clients to opt for a more subdued color.

Our consultant, Jo, transformed the bleach blonde shade to a lighter blonde tint instead. By incorporating neutral and gold tones, we were able to slightly reduce the intensity of the color, resulting in softer and more muted blonde tones for this timeless bob hairstyle.

Jodie began by revitalizing the blonde color and then carefully proceeded to give the guest's hair an undercut and added texture. A sweeping front section was left to provide a soft frame around the face, ensuring a flattering result.

Despite the guest's previous experience with short hair and clippers, they decided to embrace the return to this stylish short crop for the winter season after sporting longer hair for some time.

Today's transformation by Consultant Jo.

Today's visit was initially intended for a hair color appointment. However, this guest was aware of our Health and Safety policy and understood that based on our standard questionnaire covering allergies, tattoos, home hair coloring, and skin conditions, she would not be eligible for a coloring service at this time.

Instead, we decided on a style change. By cutting this the hair into a short textured bob, we have provided her with a versatile option that discourages her from resorting to the easier option of putting it up most of the time. Her new hairstyle can be worn behind the ears for added versatility.

Perhaps we’ll consider a shorter style in the future, but for now, let's assess how pleasurable and low-maintenance the bob is before making any hasty decisions about going even shorter.

This style adds volume to her fine hair and can be worn sleek or with added texture.
