It’s with a touch of irony that it is swiftly followed by adverts for burgers and ice cream but we’ll ignore that bit 😂 🍔 🍦

The results are still to be counted but tonight’s weigh-in was one of the best weeks we’ve had as a group in terms of weight loss so far this season! 👊⚽️

I should hope so too! With MAN v FAT – I just got recognised as one of their rising fans! 🎉

We're venturing into the world of the oval ball later this year with our first MAN v FAT Rugby clubs.

The touch rugby clubs will start in Birmingham, Cheltenham and Leicester in September and we can't wait to support even more men to improve their health and wellbeing!

🏃‍♂️ We're looking for people to take part in the Great North Run on behalf of Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation to help raise funds for our children’s wellbeing session – Pitch Positive, Kids!

We have 20 places available and are asking each of our runners to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £50 to secure their place as well as a commitment to raise a minimum of £250 to support our work within the community.

Harrogate's football heroes show their commitment to supporting community off the pitch Harrogate Town AFC is launching a new partnership with one of the community’s most respected charities.

Double winners ‘Feeds United’.

Great level of commitment off the pitch with some fantastic weight loss which saw them reach the top of the league and seal with double with a hard fought cup victory.

None of this would have been possible without efforts in losing weight. Without these goals, they would have finished third.

George is an absolute inspiration for us MvF’ers. What a season.

Part of your weight loss journey involves tracking. This keeps you focused and accountable. Team member Tom has taken this to the next level with his own weight loss Instagram account. This is amazing! Given him a follow to boost his successes!

Language is key. Think about how you say things to yourself. Persistence then creates a habit. So many success stories across the country and here in Harrogate and Knaresborough that have followed this advice.

We’ve been supported from the start by Harrogate Town AFC Community Foundation so it’ll be great to give them a good send off.

I’ve been appointed as an Assistant Coach for MAN v FAT Harrogate and I’ve taken charge of the page for the group. You might see some invites to like and follow. Feel free to ignore but I’d love it if I can grow the group to reach more people.

It’s such a fantastic initiative of losing weight and playing football. And I only get injured every other week too 👍🏼
