For Joe & Helen 💜🎐🧡!
I was very excited for this one mainly because Helen had been beavering away for months making hundreds & hundreds of origami cranes to decorate the tipi with & I couldn't wait to see what she'd done! Helen also gave me a bagful so I added some to the bouquets & the big hanging hoop that we made in the tipi - they looked so good!
Also, the venue!! It was a new one for me in Gisburne, hidden away in the Ribble Valley - absolutely stunning!! I forgot to get a photo 🙃 but trust me - it was breathtaking 😮‍💨!!!

I actually didn't manage to get as many photos as I'd have liked for this wedding as I was lucky enough to be a guest too 😍! I took a quick photo of the bouquets in the car park with the sun shining on them but then I was dashing about swapping from my high heels to my trainers to move flowers from church to venue 😆.
This was such a special day for lovely friends & I was so honoured to play a little part in it ☺️.

For Sofie & Graham who married at The Normans in August 🩷🌸🤍, pretty blush pinks & white was the colour scheme for their big day!

Always an honour (& maybe a lil extra pressure too 😬) when a wonderful family you've known for years & years ask you to create the wedding flowers.
I really did love making these, Tabitha's bouquet had locally grown sweet peas & cosmos amongst garden roses, dahlias, lisianthus & delphiniums 😍. I even made a flowery dog collar for Coco the spaniel ☺️.
Setting up at the marquee was eventful 😆 - we had everything mother nature could throw at us; high winds, rain & then boiling sunshine. I'm so pleased the sky was blue & the sun was shining by the time we left 💛.
Big thanks to Jim as always for his joinery skills with the flower arch & his help.
And an even bigger thanks to Shauneen for all the coffee, croissants & bacon butties keeping us fuelled!

I've said it in my stories but thought I'd put it here too - A massive thank you to you all for all the lovely messages & comments on my business birthday 🥳! So kind of you to take the time to do that 🤗 - it really made my weekend very special reading them all & it's spurred me on 💪🏼💘! X

17 years in business! I can't quite believe I've got here 🤣!!

A few things that have happened in the past 17 years:
A pandemic, a major recession, I've gone through 3 flower vans, a marriage, a divorce (we're still good mates 😁), I've lost people I love & gained people I absolutely adore, flowered hundreds of weddings, served thousands of customers, met the loves of my life in the form of a very sassy pug & a bloke called Jim, had opportunities I never imagined I'd get in this industry (flowering Elton John's dressing room & making all the presentation bouquets for the UCI cycling world championships spring to mind!).

It's been a rollercoaster of a ride, truly! The highs have been really up there but the lows, my god, they have been low. If I knew then what I know now, would I have done it? Honestly... probably not but the thing is, I just adore flowers, always have & always will, they've been my life since I was 13 years old being a Saturday girl in my local florists, it's all I know. This next 12 months will be the biggest test of my career I think, it's tough out here.

A massive thank you to you all for anything you've ever done to support me whether that's buy flowers, worked for me, supplied me with flowers, commented on my posts, given me a hug, recommended me, high fived me or encouraged me to keep going & stop being so dramatic - it's meant the world!

Sarah's bouquet was packed full of different varieties of Roses, the last of the season Peonies, Stocks (which will also be her new surname!), olive & eucalyptus plus I added a few tendrils of white jasmine as I love the way they dance about, doing their own thing (sounds alot like me, actually 😆!).
