Viktoria plays an important part in supporting our patient journey. Her role ranges from providing detailed surgery quotes for self-pay patients to answering questions such as:

We are delighted to share that Dan Biggar, Welsh international rugby union player and fly-half for Toulon, has signed as our first Executive Coach and Leadership Ambassador.
Dan brings with him a wealth of experience leading rugby teams at domestic and international level. His role will support a transformation in the way Circle approaches the development of it’s leaders, with Dan playing a pivotal role guiding, supporting and coaching leaders from hospital to board level.
The new role, the first of its kind for Circle Health Group, will focus on developing leaders at every level of the organisation. From team leaders on wards or in theatres, through to hospital directors and the board, Circle’s vision is to bring in key individuals who have achieved excellence in their field. This week we celebrated the 5th Anniversary of Aileen working at Lancaster Hospital. Aileen works in our Outpatients department as our clinical lead and manages the day-to-day operations of the department. To celebrate her five years of service, she was presented with a hamper by our Outpatients department admin lead, Julie.

Today at Lancaster Hospital we celebrated World Hand Hygiene Day! Hand hygiene is super important as it can reduce the risk of infections and stop the spread of harmful germs in the hospital.
Our Outpatient and IPC lead, Aileen Dickinson, ran a hand hygiene session with Senior Healthcare assistant Julie Yare. Using gloves and paint, they tested how good our staff are at applying hand sanitising gel and ensuring no part of the hand is missed.
Yesterday, we launched our new private GP service at The Lancaster Hospital. This service give us the opportunity to see more patients and refer them to on-site speciality consultants and offer fast access to diagnostics and treatments. Meet our new Private GP, Dr Tanya Roy! New to the Lancaster Hospital, we are now offering a private GP service in our Outpatient department.
Dr Tanya Roy is an experienced GP with over 25 years of Postgraduate clinical experience in medical care. Specialising in holistic, comprehensive family medical care for patients of all ages. Her empathetic, committed, friendly, approachable and compassionate nature helps her deliver exceptional health care services to families and their friends who consult her for their health care.
Dr Roy is a single mother of two lovely boys, dedicating her life to bringing them up and working for the National Health Service. Her boys have now both graduated and flown the nest. This has freed up her time to expand her service as an experienced GP in the Private sector too while continuing as a part-time Senior GP Partner in her NHS Practice.
