We're excited to launch another new site, this time for Solihull Conservation Volunteers. Their previous site had been done several years ago and wasn't mobile responsive (really important for today's internet users). So after seeing their appeal on Make Good Grow we wanted to help. It has been a pleasure to create this brand new site for them and to help support the work the amazing volunteers are doing to keep green spaces around Solihull accessible and maintained.

There are a number of free to use resources that will allow you to get a privacy policy and cookie notice sorted out as a minimum.

https://www.termly.io is very easy to use for generating privacy policies. You can also create additional documents, such as website terms of use and cookie policies using their generator. They give you a code snippet which you can paste into the Text editor of your WordPress page and the policy will appear on the publicly visible version of the page on your website.

The best cookie notice plugin I've found for WordPress is Complianz. Again their setup wizard makes it really simple to use and they will give you a shortcode that you can add to your WordPress page using the shortcode block. The shortcode will then bring up your cookie notice on that page on your website.

This week we launched the latest addition to our Starter Site portfolio. Helen Clinton, founder of Butterfly Tapping, is in the process of rebranding and updating her marketing materials and asked us to create a new website for her.

Helen uses a technique called Tapping to help people deal with anxiety and stress related issues, and boost their confidence. We used watercolour as inspiration for the project and used a soft, soothing colour palette with relaxed font styles to support Helen's message.
