OUT WITH THE OLD & IN WITH THE NEW! ✨ 😍

Although slightly different than the last rig, the new possibilities are endless.

Swapping out the monkey bars for parallette bars allows us to adapt exercises to help our members get stronger, such as regressing pull ups or chin ups and using their legs to help. There's also more anchor points for bands, gymnastic rings and X-Bands.

WE'RE LOVING THE NEW COLOURS TOO!

The benefits to training with your bodyweight are endless, exercises can easily be regressed and progressed to suit abilities and the Kenguru rig is a great piece of equipment to allow us to do this!

"Can circuit training improve reaction time?"

If the exercises are relevant to what you're trying to achieve or train for then circuit training can definitely improve reaction time.
Having boxing on the MegaBox Circuit also will help with this.

It's important to have a well rounded approach to fitness and incorporate cardio, strength and endurance which is exactly what MegaBox can give you in just one workout!

"How many days of Circuit Training should I do?"

That all depends on how much you want to improve & how much time available you have!
We advise our members to train a minimum of 3 times a week but we also know that for some people this just isn't possible - any amount of sessions is better than none! You can only do what you can do!

It is important to make sure that your body gets appropriate rest, adequate hydration and lots of good food to fuel your workouts!

Meet Lydia - Our new pilates teacher!

Lydia is coming on board at MegaBox as part of Pilates With Helen and will be delivering 1:1's, 1:2's and Matwork classes - these will be on Tuesday and Wednesday nights to start off with!
