We are pleased to announce that we will be running the 661 bus service from Hampton Court Station to Hinchley Wood School, via East and West Molesey. This route is a schools-only bus route so is only for the use of schoolchildren and students at Sixth Form Colleges. Next week (17th - 21st June) there are road closures affecting a number of our routes. Please find the diversion routes detailed below:

478 route:
The Street at West Horsley is being shut all day, every day from 17th to 21st, so the 478 route will be diverted via Ockham Road South and A246 as previously. The closest stops for those affected by this closure are Pennymead Drive stop (junction of Forest Road, by the 'Triangle') and the Pumping Station bus stop at Bell and Colvill on the A246.

678 route:
Please feel free to speak to our office to discuss the closure of The Street next week if your child gets the 678 route from East Lane/The Street.

513 route:
Tartar Road is being shut in various places next week on behalf of Surrey Highways. The 513 route will be using Canada Road as a diversion for the loop at the back of Waitrose (Freelands Road, Tartar Road, Lockhart Road, Canada Road loop) and will not be able to serve the Tartar Road and Tartar Road No. 83 bus stops. Passengers will need to board/alight the vehicle at either the Freelands Road bus stop or the Lockhart Road bus stop.
The ongoing works at Cromwell Road Bus Station are still continuing and the 513 service is continuing to terminate at Eden Street.

572 route:
Due to the ongoing works at 'The Shears' junction (junction of A308, Windmill Road and Cadbury Road). The 572 route is unable to serve Groveley Road, and will start/end its route at Beechwood Avenue. These works are due to be in place until October/November 2024.

At Blackpool this weekend for the UK Coach Rally where we have won the trophy for the best standard coach with REP 377, our Vanhool EX15. Great chance to see everyone and catch up.

For passengers on our 478 route, there is a road closure in Leatherhead that will affect the route. From 9th February to 19th February, the 478 route will not be serving Woodbridge Tesco or any stops on Kingston Road. The bus will instead terminate at Leatherhead Station (it will follow the same route towards Leatherhead). For more information, please contact our office on 01372 452330.

The Street in Effingham is has re-opened early and the 478 route will be following its normal line of route. The stops mentioned in the post below are now able to be served.

For passengers on our 478 service, there is a road closure on The Street at Effingham that is impacting the route. There is a diversion in place via Hawkwood Rise/The Lorne and Lower Road. The following stops are not able to be served at this time: Effingham Crossroads, Norwood Road (Sibley's), Woodlands Road (except for the 0841 departure as this can run as normal), and Rectory Lane (near Dobbe's Garden Centre). We have been advised that these works are in place until the end of the day on Friday 8th December.

Our new ADL Enviro 200 all signwritten and ready for the road. Very pleased with the finish on the vehicle - it is a real credit to Plaxtons and their workforce.

In all the years we have been running, M440 ECS has to be the best coach we have ever owned. The Vanhool side was immaculate for its age and the T8 was one of the best models Vanhools ever made. Wish we still had it today.

Today we had the privilege of carrying the coffin of one of our loyal customers, John Hawkins, who was a bus enthusiast. He was well liked by all our staff and we know he will be missed by us and other passengers.

Rep377 our EX Vanhool down at a sunny Littlehampton , we had some great comments about the comfortable ride the group had on the way down.She is a pleasure to drive.

On Saturday, we took the long journey up to Cobus at Hunmanby to see Steve and our Duple Leyland Tiger, A707 GPR. You can see the progress of the restoration in the photos and the colossal amount of work that has been put into this.

For passengers on our 478 service, there is a road closure on Effingham Common Road, which means the service will be on diversion through Effingham. The bus will not be able to serve Effingham Junction Station or any stops along Forest Road. The closest stop that passengers will be able to board at is at the junction of Forest Road with Ockham Road South (The Triangle). We have been advised that these works are in place for approximately 3 weeks.

These roadworks have now been changed to overnight works and will not impact the 478 bus route.

For passengers using our 478 service in the Leatherhead area on 20th and 21st March, there will be a diversion in place due to the closure of Guildford Road in Fetcham/Leatherhead between 10:00 and 16:00. Towards Leatherhead, the bus will be diverted via Waterway Road and will join the Leatherhead one-way system from there - the opposite will apply when travelling towards Guildford. Passengers will not be able to alight or board the bus at Bridge Street or North Street in Leatherhead.

For passengers using our 478 service in the Effingham area between 20th and 24th March, there will be a diversion in place due to the closure of The Street at Effingham. The bus will be using the Lower Road and Hawkwood Rise/The Lorne during this time. Stops on the A246 Guildford Road between Effingham Crossroads and Groveside /Hawkwood Rise will not be able to be served.

Andy Repton is feeling very proud today as his daughter, Sophie passed her PSV driving test this morning. Special thanks to Bains Driving School, particularly her instructor Mo who was fantastic.

We are pleased to inform passengers on our 478 and 678 routes that Forest Road is now open. We are now able to serve all of the Effingham Junction and Horsley area on the 478, and the 678 route will be able to run as normal when the schools go back next week.

For students travelling on our 637 service on Wednesday 21st December, we will be running a special service to accommodate Salesian's lunchtime closure for Christmas, which will depart at 1230 from the White Lodge Bus Stop.

For students travelling on our 678 service on Friday 16th December, we will be running a special service to accommodate the lunchtime closure for Christmas which will depart at 1225/1230 (the same time as the school coaches).

For passengers using our 571 service in the Sunbury and Kempton Park area, there is a diversion in place due to a road closure. For more information about which stops cannot be served, please speak to the driver or phone our office on 01372 452330.

For passengers on our 637 bus from Salesian School on Tuesday 22nd November, we will be running an earlier service in the afternoon to cater for Salesian School’s early finish. The bus will be departing at 1440 from the White Lodge Bus Stop. If you have any questions, please speak to our office on 01372 452330.

Fantastic night last night at the launch of the new T-Series at the stunning Gare Maritime (Tour and Taxis) in Brussels. It was a privilege to be in attendance with many colleagues from the UK and the brilliant staff from Van Hool. As we have always said, you cannot beat a Van Hool.

For passengers on our 478 route, the diversion that was in place at the end of last week is now not in use. The bus will be following normal line of route and serving Forest Road and Effingham Junction Station again.
