I honestly and truly couldn’t have done it without this AMAZING woman! is the hardest working, most reliable, trustworthy, and not to mention beautiful, funny and caring person to be able to work with! She IS our Lechlade Post Office and I’ll forever be grateful 🥰🥰

It’s with very mixed emotions that I am posting this! Unfortunately due to other business commitments, I am having to close POSTHOUSE 😭 Our last trading day will be FEBRUARY 28th 2023!

This project was borne out of lockdown when our other business took an absolute hammering due to the pandemic. I have always loved quality cards, wrap and trinket gifts so the opportunity to bring them to Lechlade was a dream.
I am just never able to be there now due to being full time back in Oxford. I miss being part of the community with our lovely loyal customers and I hate not being able to nurture the business and importantly have the time to grow it.

Facts to note:
This DOES NOT effect the Post Office, this remains open for business at its usual trading times.

I DO NOT know at this time what will go there into the shop space. Which is why in the next day or two you will see MASSIVE SALE REDUCTIONS on our current stock!

Newspapers & magazines will still be AVAILABLE after I close.

BUSINESS FOR SALE
After nearly three years of successful trading I have taken the decision to pass on the POSTHOUSE baton.
My other business commitments have meant that I haven't been able to place the required focus and time in the shop :( :(
It is such a great little space (if I do say so myself) in a fabulous community, that it deserves the care and attention of someone who can really take it places!
I have hopefully laid the foundations and demonstrated what we CAN have in Lechlade AND be profitable with it. There is also so much scope for additional revenue, increased opening times etc.
Seriously interested parties should contact me (Emily Jarman) as our Post Office manager does not have the information available regarding this.

Lechlade Post Office is looking for an experienced and reliable person to help cover the post office for the month of May.

Our lovely Gisa is away for 4 weeks and so any help to keep this community service going in May will be much appreciated.

If needed, we can reduce the opening hours for May to suit the person.
