A to Z Baking
My new found hobby… Tasty home baking and treats made with love…
After having my second baby, I found I really enjoyed experimenting with food for both my kids, and baking has always been something I have enjoyed….So here it is, my hobby that maybe one day will become something more… feel free to message me if you’re interested in anything
Cakes made for my lovely nieces. The wolf cake topper was made by my talented mum- Suzanne Bray ❤️
Cake made for my son’s best friend’ birthday- he’s mad into Disney villains - this one’s based on the shadow man from princess and the frog ☠️
A cake for my princesse’s Baptism 👸🏼❤️✝️⛪️ photography by Tiffany Lowe 🙂
Last minute birthday cake request for an auntie- I hope the surprise party is going well! 🙂
This was a present for teacher gift I created for a friend - I must say I am very fond of this blue :)
Unicorn rainbow cake🦄 🌈 for two little princesses ❤️😊
Love the colours 💙💜💗💛🧡
Happy Birthday to a special lady! Tried a new colour palette for this one and am pleased with the colours 😊
It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything- it’s been a very busy few months and I’ve been very lax at taking pictures of my baking 🙈😅
Had a busy start to the weekend with a couple of cakes made for birthdays. Summer is always a busy period for me- we’ve a lot of family birthdays and occasions that fall in the summertime 🙂
Here are the two cakes I’ve made- both vanilla sponge with whipped buttercream and raspberry jam inside. Really enjoyed making these- it’s been a while since I did a fondant covered cake :)
March is here! Which means back to work month has arrived for me and baby is now 1! 😱 lockdown may have prevented us from having a party but I had to make my princess a cake ❤️🦄
Happy Valentine’s Day! Love is something that should definitely be celebrated in the current climate so here’s some cupcakes I made for friends and family 🙂
Lockdown puts a crimp on birthdays and other special occasions but it doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy a good cake. It was my lovely sister’s birthday today, she’s chocolate mad so I had to do a double chocolate explosion cake for her ❤️
Can’t believe we’re already in February 😵
The last 12 months have been a real learning experience. Little Miss is one in a few weeks and my maternity leave is over. 😔
So on to batch cooking in preparation for working full time hours again- here’s some banana and blueberry breakfast muffins I made a couple of days ago 🙂
I had a request for a special birthday cake from my little night garden mad boy 👦🏼 he was very happy with my efforts and the plus side is he gets to keep the characters once we’ve eaten the cake 😊
Well 2020 is coming to an end and I know most people are glad to see the back of it. I’ve got a lot to be thankful this year- Not least becoming a mum of two and welcoming my little lady to the world ❤️
I’ve done more and more baking, and with my newfound confidence in making my own treats I decided this year to gift homemade hampers to friends and family.
It’s taken a lot of time, care and work but I’m proud of these- all of the treats I’ve made and shown on here (barring the hot chocolate stirrers) have gone into these bundles and I hope my family and friends enjoyed them. There’s some more items I didn’t post about here too- I made some penguin butter cookies and shortbread too 🙂
I wish everyone a happy, healthy and productive new year. Here’s to 2021!
Even during the Christmas period I can’t say no to making a cake 😅
It took quite a bit of time to make all the chips and letters but I think it really makes it pop 👍🏻
It’s a chocolate sponge inside too- should go down well!

More Christmas adventures in baking 😊 last night’s experiment- mince pies 😁
Experimented with milk chocolate truffles last night- very pleased with how they’ve turned out, going to give white chocolate truffles a try tonight 😊
When you make so many gingerbread men you run out of Tupperware 🙈😂 it’s a good job they never last long! Already had some samples disappear from my cooling rack...
I feel like I’m building a gingerbread army 😅 these have gone down a treat so I’m having to bake more! There’s nothing better than a chewy, warming sweet gingerbread man with a cup of tea in this foul weather 👍🏻
Milk chocolate fudge tonight - tastes like a smooth vanilla truffle 😋 🎄 🎁
Not exactly as I’d planned it but Beth was happy with it 😊 colour looks different in the pictures, the purple looks brown in this 🙈 more pics to follow once it’s cut, Happy Birthday Bethany! 🥳
Mmmm... chocolate cake 😊 I love the smell of my kitchen as this bakes, and love even more when I ‘accidentally’ make too much batter resulting in some taster cupcakes 👌🏻 this ones going to be a lovely drip icing cake for a special birthday, more pics to follow once it’s done 🙂
White chocolate fudge - yummy silky sweetness without being too sweet. Very happy with this! 🙂
Going to try something else new tonight... Christmas is creeping ever nearer...
Kids asleep, hubby busy gaming... time to try out a new recipe 🙂
Making a white chocolate fudge tonight. Husband approves of the taste even before it’s done 👍🏻
