Why Morning Routines DON’T work
This is one of the most destructive words we see with clients each day,
ROUTINE.
Routine- A sequence of actions repeatedly followed.
Any morning rarely looks the same, especially with kids, pets and high-pressure careers.
Instead, focus on non-negotiables. That way you don’t hit yourself with a sh*tty stick when one element isn’t hit. This also allows flexibility which removes guilt and promotes momentum.
Start with 1 to 3 things and build them out over time. Sticking to your word is the quickest way to build self-esteem as you can trust yourself. This is where confidence starts to increase.
Here are some suggestions;
📱 Get your phone out of the room. Why add in unnecessary stress first thing in the morning?
💧 Drink 500ml (roughly 1 pint) of water asap.
🍏 Eat a healthy breakfast. If you prep it the night before it saves time and will stop you craving high-sugar snacks before lunch.
🚶Get outside for a 10-15 minute walk to get your body moving.
🙏 Practice gratitude. Write down 3 things you’re grateful for. What you focus on you will find.

Overcome people pleasing in 3 simple steps,
Are you saying yes to everyone but yourself?
Changing this is simple but it's not easy.
These are the 3 steps we recommend for our clients that you can implement too:
1. Use effective communication. Not just communication. Most people say, “Please don’t email me this weekend unless it’s really urgent”.
Instead, say “I am going away with my family this weekend and won’t have access to my emails as I want to be fully present with them. Unless something is on fire, don’t contact me instead please email (PA/Business Partner/colleague)."
2. Put in boundaries. No phone after 8pm. No emails after 8pm. You can either set your boundaries or have someone else set them for you.
3. Start saying yes to you more. Don’t think of it as saying no to someone else. Most people pleasers hate letting others down. Instead, focus on saying yes to you.
Yes to a night off.
Yes to family time.
Yes to your health.
You are good enough just as you are.
