It’s the time of year where I have taken a bit of a break from social media to spend quality time editing 😂.

The brief was, it’s just the two of us plus staff as witnesses. We’re both really awkward in front of the camera but we want photos. IMHO, nobody is as awkward as they think they are when they’re with their partner in crime ❤️. It really was a pleasure to be part of their intimate wedding

Each and every wedding is unique. Just over a week ago, I had the pleasure of photographing L+A’s wedding in Leeds. This is a first to be photographing a wedding where the groom played the first part of the entrance song on the organ and wrote a piece performed by the choir for his bride! Friday looked a lot like this 😍

On Tuesday I had the pleasure of photographing R&J’s wedding in stunning Lake District with glorious sunshine and atrocious rain just in time for pictures by the lake!

Happy to all the lovely dads, stepdads and mums who cover both roles. I lost my own dad a very long time ago, which is a huge reason why I do this job. Why I feel the importance of capturing the precious moments and connections ❤️

One of my absolute favourite wedding venues is which is super local to me and has the most amazing space - plus the team are always spot on. How is it two months ago since A+J were married there? We had crazy wind, which, meant we headed to one of the barn buildings for couple portraits. It's such an adaptable space for weddings and wedding photography.

No two weddings are ever the same, no two couples are ever the same. For me it’s important to get to know my couples so that I understand what is important to them on their wedding day.
