The day has come! Fresh start to the season, what are your predictions?⤵️

🚨🗞️ | 𝘽𝙍𝙀𝘼𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙉𝙀𝙒𝙎: Leeds United are delighted to announce the appointment of Daniel Farke as the club’s new first team manager.

A two time winner of the Sky Bet Championship whilst in charge of Norwich City, Farke has agreed a four-year deal at Elland Road.

The 46-year-old German succeeds Sam Allardyce who left the Whites at the end of last season.

Enjoying a career as a player in the German lower leagues, predominantly with SV Lippstadt, he went on to manage the club, before taking the reins at Borussia Dortmund II.

This led to him being named Norwich City boss in the summer of 2017 and he enjoyed great success at Carrow Road.

In the 2018/19 campaign he guided Norwich to the Sky Bet Championship title, finishing five points above Sheffield United in second and 11 ahead of Leeds in third, taking the club back to the top-flight for the first time in three years.

Farke was unable to keep the Canaries in the Premier League, but on their return to the second-tier, he once more guided the Norfolk side to the Championship title, with Norwich picking up 97 points, three more than their success two years prior.

➡️ Paraag Marathe was appointed Leeds United Vice Chairman in January 2021 and has been a member of the LUFC Board of Directors since 2018.

➡️ Paraag will now be the primary owner of Leeds United

Radrizzani on the deal: “We are nothing short of enthusiastic to be able to announce that we have completed the acquisition of this extraordinary club. The history and the Sampdoria coat of arms are safe and I think my happiness is that of all the people who were suffering for these colours”

The 49ers are still pushing to takeover Leeds and supposedly had an agreement to purchase this summer, but relegation has complicated that.

Leeds were said to be valued around £400m when the deal was made and needed to stay up as a condition. The 49ers are still likely to takeover, but at a new price significantly lower around £150m.

⚔️ | Last-Stand Scenarios:

Well the reality of is that it looks a little too late heading into Sundays fixtures but these are the scenarios Leeds would need to see them stay up in the Premier League.

1. We must be Spurs on Sunday, no questions asked
2. Bournemouth beating Everton would be ideal for us
3. It would also be ideal if Leicester lose, but if not then it depends on other results

Definitely not the prettiest of pictures and not here to pump false hope for anyone, but this is what to look out for tomorrow.

On the bright side, the good news about going down is we can potentially have another promotion party? Haha come on Lads, big last day💪🏻

Tough one to lose, never really got hopes up once we were in the lead but we could’ve easily scored more.

I also can’t understand for the life of me why Gnonto isn’t starting or even being utilized. To make it worse, his last 3 appearances from the bench have all been under 30 minutes.
