Eldritch Preview! A super quick look at the pre printing version of the Book of Madness.

Dear Adventurers

I thought I'd show you something that literally NO ONE has seen: a completed* page from the Deluxe Edition. This is the Scorbius Drake, which is a hunter (this one's only a drakeling), and a formidable presence.

The Drake can stun its prey, and deals additional damage to stunned creatures. It's a pretty fearsome beast. Its background text also shares a connection with a future book (the whole book is intertwined with snippets of the future).

But it's the Dread abilities that are significant, for it can burn Dread to recharge its abilities, or it can increase the DC or any creature's Intelligence saving throw. It can only burn 4 Dread, so while these abilities look formidable, they have their limits.

In the meantime, here's an unedited copy of the Dread Reaver to tide you over! This is the kind of detail you can expect to see in the finished book (actually a bit more, this is condensed down into one page to show off a bit of everything).

Good news! The pledge manager is opening on Friday!

And here's a mock up (early days) of the final page. The graphics are still placeholder, but it's an idea of what you're going to get.

This page still needs three or four more edits + a professional edit, so it's really just to give you an idea of what's to come. :)
