Our very own Manager Jenny is running the Leeds Half Marathon and to keep herself motivated she's set up a just giving page on her personal Facebook account. If you'd like to donate you can pop over to her personal FB page and do so. She's raising money for MND. She's going to be updating her progress weekly and would really appreciate support and a kick up the backside if needed!!

Celebrating the lovely Georgina birthday with a cake made by the chef🥳🎂

We had a celebration of the homes 20th year of been open. The day started with Councillors Dowling and Garvani visiting and talking to our residents, followed by a fish and chips lunch for residents, relatives/friends and staff. Then a talk from Nancy about the land before Bedford Court was built, followed by the wonderful singer Richard and Honey the dog🐶. A great day was had by all🙂

Thursday is pamper day and our ladies love it. Here's a few enjoying their time with Katina.

We had Nancy from the local museum to come and do some reminiscing. This is a great activity for our residents to get involved in as it brings back happy times from years gone by.

The residents had their Christmas party yesterday 🥳 it was thoroughly enjoyed by all. We had a great entertainer, wonderful food and of course a glass or 2 of wine 🍷

One of the local Schools came to sing Christmas Carols. The residents thoroughly enjoyed it. They also made each resident a decoration for the tree. 🎄

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Bedford Court 🎅🤶Thanks to Mandy one of our team seniors for putting up the decorations. 🎄🎄

This week's baking group made mince pies 🥧 These went out with the afternoon tea trolley and went down a treat 😋Thanks to Elizabeth again for supporting this activity.

It has been a busy few weeks getting our home looking fresh and new, and just in time for Christmas! Our residents helped to pick the paint and the new carpets. I have to say they have great taste. Everyone is really pleased with the new look. It has a lovely warm and cosy feel to it 😊

Our residents enjoyed preparing the Christmas cake mix with Elizabeth yesterday. This was a great activity for the ladies. A special thank you to Elizabeth for giving up her time to support this.
